Ristorante Middle East In Como

The service was good. The taste is poor. The lamb was not good. The chicken sauce was too sour for our taste. I gave 3 stars only because the lady running the restaurant was friendly. The sides were better though. Hummus was not bad. Rice was ok. Surprisingly the fries were excellent. The ambiance was poor mostly due to loud and low quality music. They could have selected better middle eastern music. I would not go there again. There are many better options around.

I had been looking for a good Lebanese restaurant in Italy for a long time and I was really lucky to discover Middle East in Como! The place is welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful, but above all else the food is FANTASTIC! The location is strategic, right in the bus station square, a few steps from the Como Lago station and the funicular to Brunate. I love the scents and aromas of Mediterranean cuisine, the creaminess of hummus and baba ganush, as well as the skilful mix of spices. I don't live nearby so I can't go there often. However, I have been there twice for lunch at the table and then I have taken advantage of the take away twice more. In all cases the food was excellent and above expectations. As an added value, they are very attentive to allergens (my wife has celiac disease and has found many dishes suitable for her) and there are many vegetarian and vegan options. The wine list has a few labels, but there are some hard-to-find Lebanese labels that pair perfectly with the food. Also worth trying is qahwa, Arabic coffee with cardamom. Middle East is one of those places that you can easily become attached to.

One of the best lebnanian 🇱🇧🇱🇧 restaurants I have ever tried. I talked a mixed grilled meet , checken koftah and hummus. All of them were realy delicious and fresh. The resturant is managed by a very welcoming staff lead by “Abu Adam” and they helped me even in ordering the best courses that are bieng salled by the resturent. Also, do not forget the sweets after the main meals “basbusah and baqlawah. I will come again and again.

The dealing is very respectful and their manners are sweet. The chicken shish tawook with rice is very delicious, the chicken shawarma is very delicious, the grape leaves are delicious, and the meat kebab is what I liked.

Mashallah, may God bless you, the best Arabic restaurant I have eaten in Europe. The meat is very good, grilled, and there is no mistake. The appetizers are delicious. The falafel is amazing. The tea is great. Great words, in addition to the owner of the restaurant, the good man Abu Adam, a warm reception and a wonderful smile. I will not forget Muhammad Alloush, the wonderful young man in welcoming us and serving us.
