I have been living local to this restaurant for a couple of years now and it took me over a year to find! It is a little restaurant hidden away. Oh..what have I been missing!! Great friendly service, great surroundings and fantastic food. A varied menu with some unusual alternatives. Jonathan and Chiara are great hosts and even catered for my (advanced) special request. It may be a little more expensive than the 'average' restaurant but this place is much better than average. It is worth every cent.
Any bad points? They are only open in the summer and I want to go back there today!!! 😉 I really think it will be worth the wait. Opens at Easter!

What an amazing find! We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant the first night we arrived in Tuscany. We were greeted with a friendly smile and were walked thru the menu by the chef as there was a language barrier. They created a wholesome atmosphere and their attention to detail was amazing! They had a seasonal specials menu as well as the standard and we struggled to pick a meal as it all sounded so good. They only cook with local and fresh produce and you can really tell in the taste. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Apologies we forgot to take a photo of our dessert which was a delicious apple pie!

For our second visit we were welcomed by the owners Jonathan and Chiara (Chef Chef)... Advised by the Chef, we were able to taste the famous pork of the Macchiaiola Maremmana do Seggiano breed, an endangered species that two committed grannies are trying to revive!!!! A delight !!!! High quality local dishes, personal service worthy of great restaurants, a warm and relaxed atmosphere in a fabulous setting…..!!!! To discover and rediscover without restraint!!! Thank you both for this unforgettable moment and this unwavering commitment to the search for quality and taste of local flavors!!!

Restaurant au top. Cuisine à base de produits exclusivement locaux et de qualité. Les patrons, Madame en cuisine, sont passionnés et conviviaux. Nous avons goûté la charcuterie de porc Macchiaiola Maremmana, espèce en voie de disparition, élevés par 2 mamies engagées. Tout était parfait, le lieu est très agréable, les mets sont fins et bien présentés, le service attentionné. Je vous conseille vivement ce restaurant.

First off, let me say that Jonathan and Chiara are amazing humans. We came very late and they made us welcome... with smiles!
This meal was one of my Top 3 meals of all time! With the attention paid to the smallest details, the quality and passion infused in the food, it all adds up to an unforgettable experience! From appetizer to dessert and wine pairings... fantastic!! I truly thank them for sharing their expertise and passions. If you can... go here... eat... and take in the wonderful surroundings, a combination of beautiful grounds, art and sculpture. Really, what more could you ask for?
PS Breakfast was great too... huge!
