Cuisine.. Genuine and home-made.. Excellent value for money.

I start from the position. Convenient because it is on the road. Not beautiful because it is closed in a valley bottom therefore not panoramic and a little humid. No noise from the street. Xamera large and clean. It has what you need with air conditioning. No water heater for coffee. Clean and well furnished. Small terrace. Delicious restaurant in the building. Local products and varied good quality cuisine. A very welcoming place with country furnishings (old objects, modern antiques, tools...), it looks like a literary café with a well-stocked library. Helpful staff. Breakfast, due to the early departure, I asked for a sandwich but they put two which served me for the whole day.

We had a most delicious meal in Albergo sciamoro. We were their only clients for this night and we were welcomed with great courtesy and friendliness. The food was delicious and they even catered for me, as I'm coeliac. It was the first satisfying meal I've had in a restaurant since the beginning of our holiday. I was aware that Italy would be mostly wheat based foods and I have learnt to choose foods that suited me. I love Italy and this is a small price to pay to be in this beautiful country. But this restaurant is my number one in all of Tuscany. This is a family run restaurant and the mother was the chef and a very good cook. The presentation was very appetising and the food was delicious. Her son waited on us and entertained us with his chat and was so courteous to wait til we were ready to go home without any intimation of wanting us to leave. It is well worth a visit.

Ottimo e con prezzi nel complesso davvero onesti. Risotto ai funghi da provare assolutamente. Buoni anche i dolci. Servizio veloce, personale gentile.

An ideal place to stop if you are traveling on state road 63, and perhaps decide to continue a conversation while they serve you something good. The internal room is large and spacious and during the seasons that allow it the pergola outside makes you want to unplug and spend a night in the hotel, perhaps to wake up with a swim in the pool The offer of typical dishes is always abundant, tradition always present the dessert line deserves to be crossed dry or spoonful it doesn't matter do not forget me Tiramisu, sweet puff, tart or cake Cristina will give her best. But if you don't have a sweet tooth, it doesn't matter.

I can't comment on the rooms, because I've never used them. But the restaurant is truly the top: the appetizers are my passion, the cheese lasagne exquisite, for the second courses you are spoiled for choice....the blueberries with hot ice cream then... Friendliness, courtesy and availability are the qualities that distinguish the landlady, as well as the help staff. Highly recommended!

I didn't sleep in the hotel, but we ate very well, in a bright outdoor environment, full of flowers and without annoying insects. The very kind staff makes you feel better than at home and the dishes are really excellent. Try the Tripe, which as I checked on Google has low caloric value, but is extremely tasty and well made. Excellent appetizers with typical local herb or other cakes. in conclusion, if you like good food with peace and serenity at the table, this is your place in this part of Lunigiana. Ottima ospitalità, camere molto pulite e funzionali, servizi piscina e idromassaggio molto apprezzati, buona la colazione. Abbiamo anche cenato, qualità molto buona, prezzo adeguato.

Ritornati per cena e l'impressione ottima della prima volta si è confermata. Posto gradevole, gentilezza e cortesia del servizio si accompagnano bene con i piatti tipici locali e di cucina nostrana. Complimenti e arrivederci.
