Sono tornato a pranzo con un amico qui, dopo che erano anni che non ci venivo. Ricordavo che non mi aveva fatto impazzire ma ho voluto ridargli una possibilità. Veniamo accolti dal proprietario che in maniera molto cordiale ci spiega un po’ il menu e ci suggerisce un po’ dei piatti, il posto è in pieno centro e in quel momento non c’era nessuno in sala oltre a noi. Prendiamo degli spaghetti al nero di seppia, molto abbondanti, non male e devo dire anche con molta seppia, €18, e delle busiate con ragù di mare, €17, molto buono il ragù, come secondo prendiamo la rana pescatrice fritta e il calamaro ripieno di mandorle, arance e pecorino, il primo 17€ e l’altro €19, qui se i primi mi sono comunque un po’ piaciuti nei secondi un po’ maluccio, intanto le dimensioni devo dire indecenti, sopratutto i bocconcini di rana pescatrice, e poi anche il sapore, la rana pescatrice non aveva quasi nessun sapore deciso, mentre il calamaro aveva questo sapore un po’ agrodolce e un po’ particolare che non mi ha fatto impazzire. Totale del pranzo 83€ e a mio parere un po’ troppo e immeritati vista la delusione dei secondi, peccato

We are welcomed by the owner who in a very friendly way explains the menu to us a little and suggests some of the dishes, the place is in the center and at that moment there was no one in the room besides us. We take some spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, very abundant, not bad and I must say also with a lot of cuttlefish, €18, and some busiate with seafood ragù, €17, the ragù is very good, as a second course we take the fried monkfish and squid stuffed with almonds, oranges and pecorino, the first €17 and the other €19, here although I liked the first a little, the second ones were a little bad, meanwhile the dimensions I must say are indecent, especially the morsels of monkfish , and then also the flavour, the monkfish had almost no strong flavour, while the squid had this slightly sweet and sour and slightly particular flavor that I wasn't crazy about. Lunch total €83 and in my opinion a little too much and undeserved given the disappointment of the seconds, too bad

Dopo una piccola incomprensione della quale mi assumo la colpa(volevo un tavolo più lontano dalla porta ma al momento della prenotazione mi era stato detto che non era possibile)è cominciato un viaggio piacevolissimo nella cucina siciliana. Busiata vongole e zucchine per primo piatto poi calamaro ripieno,involtini di tonno e tagliata alle mandorle a seguire tutti di ottima fattura e preparazione. Cannolo siciliano scomposto di primissima con calice di zibibbo e con calice di moscato. Carta dei vini abbastanza ampia per ogni gusto. Piatti anche di terra. Cane ben accolto. Servizio da parte del titolare molto esaudiente nello spiegare i piatti coadiuvato da una gentile e brava ragazza. Conto equilibrato.
