We visited a few years back and returned recently – still impressed! The eggplant parmigiana was outstanding and nearly brought a tear to my eye: great wine, top-notch service, and a lively atmosphere with both locals and tourists. I highly recommend for authentic Tuscan cuisine! The steak was great as we're the cannelloni beans with sausage, which didn't look appetising but was scrumptious!

The food was lovely. It is a restaurant with a menu set back in the 90’s. I would certainly call it traditional! Haha. But saying that, the food was amazing. Simple, well executed and reminiscent of the Italian I grew up with. Thanks very much. It was a lovely lunch.

The best of Tuscan food. The meat was divine. The homemade tiramisu was the best. Another place to taste real Tuscan food.

Another Florentine restaurant that is worth trying to discover typical Tuscan cuisine accompanied by a good wine typical of the area. The ravioli with ragù is good, the meat is excellent 🥩 try it

Veramente buonissimo.. la carne spaziale , sono stata da sola a mangiare li la sera prima di capodanno e mi sono trovata davvero bene

Locale molto caratteristico e tipico toscano, cucina buona con qualcosa da migliorare. Buoni i primi e gli antipasti, da migliorare sicuramente le milanesine che mi sarei aspettato con l’osso. Ottimi i carciofi fritti così come il sangiovese preso a calice.

Bellissimo ambiente, poco interessante il menu. Buono il primo, il cheesecake veramente da dimenticare. Non tornerei, ristorante per turisti.

06/04/2024: Absolutely wonderful diner in this authentic local restaurant. We had made a reservation well ahead of time and it turned out that it was a wise decision. People that came without a reservation could wait or leave. Some people decided to wait for about 2 hours when the restaurant started to accepting new guests once tables cleared. The service, food and the whole experience was great and absolutely worth it.

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro

05/03/2024: In visita a Firenze per un fine settimana, passeggiando lungo l'Arno vedo questo ristorante mi ha subito affascinato per la sua luminosità ed il personale vestito di chiaro. Prenotiamo senza neppure vedere una recensione. E' stata letteralmente una festa per il palato! Un grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff che ha reso il pranzo una vera festa. Torneremo, spero presto.
29/02/2024: Ambiente semplice ma raffinato, piatti della tradizione fiorentina, servizio cortese. Ottime le pappardelle, prezzo buono per la qualità e la location. Consigliato sia per coppie che per gruppi di amici.
