In this place, the concept of slow food opened up for us 🤣 Serving and getting food to the table was really slow. When I ordered the sirloin steak, I wasn't asked the degree of doneness of the steak. When it was finally served to the table, it was well done, completely gray and dry. I was disappointed, but since it took 40 minutes to get the steak, I didn't have time to order another steak.

We had lunch on a Saturday without a reservation. Very friendly staff and excellent food. The truly surprising thing is the attention to the customer and the feeling of welcome that almost makes you feel like you are visiting a relative. Available to everyone, with the sole prayer of "use me but don't take me away", in the bathroom you can find everything from deodorants to sanitary pads to disposable toothbrushes and cigarettes for customers at the checkout. A treat that amazed us and we recommend stopping by for those passing through Castellina.

Excellent local typical Tuscan cuisine. Rustic atmosphere very welcoming like the staff. Excellent service at the right time without waiting. Very very good dishes with intense aromas and flavours. We ate divinely. In my opinion at suitable prices for the quality and originality of the dishes. We will definitely be back. 🔝 highly recommend 👍

Locale dall’ atmosfera calda e accogliente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Da segnalare la zuppa castagne e porcini, deliziosa, lo sformatino di zucca e carote, i pici all’ aglione, la tartare di manzo buonissimi e ben presentati. Buono anche il rosso della casa. I dolci sono tutti squisiti e il pane fatto in casa è un bonus impagabile. Consigliato

Pranzo in famiglia di domenica. Bel menù per le proposte presentate, ottima carta dei vini. Abbiamo assaggiato vari tipi di antipasti, primi, secondi e dolci: tutto superlativo e presentato davvero bene. Ambiente informale ma molto curato e particolare. Mi ha stupito in senso positivo trovare un'offerta di sigarette per i clienti, e un bagno molto pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort per gli ospiti. I prezzi sono giusti considerando l'ottima qualità del cibo. Ottimi i tempi di servizio, e personale di sala molto accogliente e gentile. Torneremo.

Eccellente. Qualità e servizio si valorizzano a vicenda. Ambiente informale con grande scelta sia di pietanze che di vini, perfettamente consigliati . Dovrei fare una menzione speciale per ogni piatto... Per il cestino del pane , la qualità dell'olio. E i dessert.

In un borgo bellissimo questo piccolo locale ci ha offerto una bellissima atmosfera. Abbiamo mangiato diverse pietanze della tradizione toscana, tutte ottime. Una nota di merito x la tagliata, superlativa. Servizio attento e gentile, assolutamente consigliato.
