Sottosopra In Acqui terme

The place is not very visible from the outside, in fact I found it via Google Maps while I was in Chieri on my lunch break. Good food but I expected that due to the type of place and location (not in the centre, on a passing street), they would offer a lunch menu, as they do everywhere in Turin, so for a stop for lunch it is a bit expensive. Piedmontese proposal, I took veal with tuna sauce and ravioli with roast sauce, both good, within the norm.

A really nice surprise. We went for lunch. Neat and clean environment, welcomed and served at the table by the very kind owner. All 4 of us had a starter, main course and dessert. All of excellent quality and good quantity. The right account. The only negative note, but marginal: the coffee wasn't the best. We will definitely be back

We found the place via Google, we called to reserve a table for 4 on the way. It's a working lunch before the Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri vs Savino Del Bene Scandicci volleyball match. From the phone call, the lady was very kind and helpful to our requests regarding time and timing. From the menu we opted for a brazato and three agnolotti with 3 sauces, I must say that they were excellent, the waitress then offered us the list of desserts and we also took 3 homemade desserts and a tart, all home-made and excellent!! !! I'd say we proved ourselves wrong in terms of being foodies. For the record, four place settings, three first courses, one second course, four desserts, three coffees, two grappas and three bottles of water we spent €100. Very modest price, excellent quality, clean and well-presented environment, extremely helpful, courteous and kind staff. What can I say, we recommend it!!!! Rated 10 stars!!!

We went for dinner, super nice, friendly and professional staff. The fassone steak with raschera was excellent, the entrecote was less good and I asked for it rare but it arrived overcooked. I was sorry to send the dish back given the kindness of the lady who served us, in the end it wasn't inedible so I didn't want to raise the issue. The other diners had agnolotti with the three roasts not on the menu which were described as excellent! Overall I recommend it!

In a passing street, there is this very good restaurant. Family run, very friendly and helpful staff. Menu with traditional Piedmontese cuisine with some very good variations on the first courses. Averagely stocked cellar, overall excellent value for money. Note of merit: the prices for the New Year's Eve evening had no surcharge. I'll be back

Lo abbiamo scelto a caso perché ci trovavamo a Chieri a pranzo e dovevamo fermarci per pranzare abbiamo guardato le recensioni che ci hanno convinti, quindi grazie Google 🙂. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, una trattoria in cui si mangiano piatti piemontesi, davvero davvero buoni. Ci torneremo senza dubbio e porteremo anche altre persone.

Tornando da Torino ci siamo fermate in questo super grazioso locale. Nonostante l'ora....(le 14) ci hanno accolte con simpatia e gentilezza! Ottimi i primi il vino ed i dolci. Consigliatissimo...anche per il prezzo! Grazie❣

Locale raccolto, bello ed accogliente. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Cucina di ottima qualità, così come la scelta dei vini. Posso consigliarlo a chiunque.
