Very friendly and approachable staff who even resolved a misunderstanding on our part in an instant. I went mainly for the steak and it is definitely their strong point! Excellent choice of wines, we'll see you again

Good morning. Last night I was in this place, with 16 other people, including 4 children under the age of 7. We obviously went for the meat based on the "hearsay" that has been circulating around Benito for years. The place is simple and recalls the Florentine trattorias that thrive on steak. The appetizer chosen was the classic one, i.e. the Tuscan one made of sliced spelled olives, without croutons, but they are usually there. In any case, if I'm not mistaken, there were 3 or 4 plates of cold cuts. Good. The meat is tender and at least 4 inches thick. It was 3 steaks for 13 people. Soft to the cut, succulent and soft on the palate. House wine in the flask. Dessert to finish and coffee. I can say that we ate well but it ends there. The problem arose after paying. The calculation was wrong, as can easily happen. But it is brought out in a polite way and with a seraphic tone, because leaving the room and shouting that the bill doesn't add up in front of other people was not pleasant. We don't behave like that. The fact of being in Orentano does not mean behaving like farmers and having to accept it. I'll add other things. They are not equipped to change diapers. I don't know how much the meat costs per hectogram/kilo, because there is no menu with prices, or at least we don't have it, we have seen it, we have been told. With the moonlight running, the customers who come to spend, everyone must be treated equally and with kindness, otherwise 94 euros per couple won't come back to spend......as in my case and that of the other diners. Thank you, greetings but I'll move on.

Introduction The meat was very good....but can you tell me the price? We arrived and there were already bottles of wine open at the table... but what if, as actually happened, I wanted more wine? in fact I asked for more wine and we had to go downstairs to choose it, but a wine list? then we ate spelled beans and some cold cuts.... But a menu?

Lots and lots of stuff! Fantastic starter.. not to mention the steak!! It melts in your mouth like it's butter! Absolutely recommended!

Si va per la bistecca, quella vera in stile fiorentina. Trattoria perfetta per una serata all'insegna della carne e più in generale dei sapori autentici ormai scomparsi, vittime del sistema di produzione di massa. Si torna a casa consapevoli di aver vissuto un esperienza che va oltre il cibo. Personale professionale e cortese, prezzi giusti. La prenotazione è d'obbligo, trattoria apprezzata e ben nota agli intenditori.

Ottimo pranzo, carne che si scioglieva in bocca. prezzi giusti per le tasche di tutti. l'unico appunto lo farei sugli antipasti, non eccelsi a mio gusto
