The restaurant is located in the main street of Bagheria (PA), Corso Butera. The two dining rooms are located on the first floor of an ancient building. The restaurant also has a large terrace which is used in the summer, and which makes tasting meals even more pleasant. The cuisine at the "trattoria da Dario" is characterized by typical Sicilian dishes, cooked in a traditional and exemplary manner. The service is softened by the presence of the owner who, with a lot of savoir faire, endears himself to the diners. The purely homely environment already suggests the goodness of the food. The final surprise is reserved for the bill, which is much lower than what is generally expected. Seeing is believing

Veramente buoni i piatti a base pesce . Ho mangiato un tortino gustosissimo e siamo stati molto bene sebbene in tanti abbiamo mangiato ottimi piatti e gustato le cassatelle calde alla ricotta eccezionali..da consigliare ..migliorerei l'estetica dell'ingresso a piano terra perché nasconde il locale al piano superiore veramente accogliente..complimenti ...spero di tornare presto

Locale molto tradizionale sia come location sia come menù. Piatti senza fronzoli preparati con ottime materie prime e abbondanti, sia per lo standard comune, sia poi per i prezzi davvero convenienti. Servizio rapido ed essenziale. Locale affollato da gente del luogo. Sicuramente un ottimo punto di riferimento per mangiare a Bagheria.

22/03/2024: Locale stupendamente ristrutturato in uno dei più bei palazzi STORICI di corso Vittorio Emanuele, in piena zona pedonale e con vista sulla cattedrale. All’interno perfetto mix architettonico di moderno (con un vero e proprio Museo sulla Apple e Steve Jobs) e antico, servizio eccellente come Tradizione Michelin vuole. Lo Chef mantiene le attese nel suo menu degustazione di terra e mare con ottimi incroci di ingredienti siciliani e internazionali che si fanno apprezzare per gli accostamenti, l’equilibrio, il gusto e anche la presentazione. Prezzo corretto alla luce dell’offerta eccezionale
19/03/2024: Excellent food but overall experience let down by the sommelier. We were keen to try local grape varieties and/or more interesting pairings. Wine was good but sommelier was either not interested in or not capable of recommending anything other than very classic wine (we didn’t go to Sicily to have “burgundy-style” reds..?!). Similarly with after-dinner drinks. Didn’t seem to know about Whisky. Surprising for a Michelin-started place.

01/04/2024: Fresh fish and very good dishes, there are many fish restaurants in Palermo, but this one has something extra.
