SUPER! Small trattoria with a limited number of dishes on the menu but all the offerings are truly special: both the braised meat with polenta and the sirloin René style (both horsemeat) are excellent, the pike is excellent, the desserts are exquisite. Everything you eat and drink here is the fruit of the territory, if you love sweet and sour food you will be spoiled here (from the mustard to the sauces that accompany the starters), the wine list is rich enough and features high quality bottles at lower prices. how affordable. Even the bread included in the cover is good and crunchy!!! The owner has an edge, the place is so beautiful and welcoming that he can be forgiven for having an external toilet. Absolutely must try!

Truly interesting dinner for originality and quality

Serata bellissima alla Trattoria della Pace da Renè l'ambiente è molto bello e caldo ,una vera trattoria di una volta.Il titolare e chef Renè è un vero oste che conosce il vino ed il cibo perfettamente e lo fa con una passione incredibile. Prima dell'antipasto una gustosa entrèe di maccheroncini offerta dalla casa.Come anticipasto luccio in salsa alla mantovana con polenta e selezione di salumi vari con la giardiniera esagerata fatta da Renè. Come secondo una bella costata(carne eccellente) e patate saltate in padella fatte al momento .Ad accompagnare il tutto un ottima bottiglia di Valpolicella per finire sbrisolona e Lambrusco buonissimo . Esperienza super positiva grazie alla eccezionale presenza di Renè che ci ha intrattenuto parlando un pò di tutto.Da segnalare il parcheggio nel cortile interno comodissimo.Torneremo presto a trovarlo perché vorremmo assaggiare i primi tipo le pappardelle con porri e salsiccia o i bigoli al torchio con sardella e pomodorini.

Siamo stati nella trattoria su consiglio del proprietario del nostro B&B e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. I proprietari sono gentili e simpatici, e ci hanno fatto accomodare nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Ci è piaciuto moltissimo tutto ciò che abbiamo ordinato, e se torneremo nella zona ci fermeremo assolutamente!

Excellent experience in this small-sized restaurant with great quality in its food and environment. All the dishes are really excellent but special mention goes to those with stew. I also highly recommend the ribeye. The owner, René, is truly an extraordinary person with his friendliness and good conversation. The place is not very large but well done and rustic. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping in for a bite to eat.

Short stop during cycling tourism, found by chance. The owner and his wife are very friendly. We only had first courses and desserts, having to then cycle further, but everything was good, both the bigoli and the tortelli. Correct quality/price ratio

Sublime! At least all we tried: wine, salame, tortelli di zucca and controfiletto. One tastier and better than the other. Add the nice ambiance and the exquisite hospitality, what else can you ask? Ah yes, a reasonable bill. Very recommended, but make sure to reserve, tables are limited.
