We had a beautiful evening! Really tasty dinner with a wide choice of dishes for all tastes, very knowledgeable in recommending wines; quick to serve you, helpful and friendly. Great prices. Cozy, slightly rustic, well-furnished environment; offers some more private corners. Family atmosphere. The evening offered (organized on some occasions) 2 hours of excellent quality live music animated by a truly "good" band that involved everyone present in dancing or singing!!! In short, a truly TOP place 🤩. Evening to repeat COMPLIMENTS!

Unfortunately I expected a little more from this emblematic Ovada trattoria. The day we went the restaurant was full so the service was quite slow, not to say very very slow. The mixed antipasti and cheese boards took a long time to arrive and when they arrived they were quite disappointing. The quality of the products was good, but the quantity they gave us was like a maximum for 4 people and not for 8 as per our order and I have to admit that I was hungry. I have to admit that the first and second courses were good but the portions were a little disappointing. Just the right desserts. I think the prices are too low and I think they should raise them a little and maybe put a little more food on the plates.

Sono passati oltre trent’anni da quando mangiavamo con una certa regolarità in questo locale. A distanza di tanto tempo sono rimaste invariate due cose : la qualità dei prodotti proposti e la proprietà. Da allora il locale è stato ampliato con altre due sale, ma la principale ha mantenuto lo stile di un tempo, oltre al titolare storico anche il figlio ed un’equipe ben affiata e gentile. Non è mia abitudine inserire nelle recensioni la foto del menu, ma in questo caso faccio un eccezione per via del coperto ed acqua gratuiti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo, consiglio di prenotare nei we.

Ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questa trattoria in Ovada..molto carino il locale con giardinetto privato..buoni i vari piatti, gentilissime le ragazze che servono.. consigliato Ileana Asti

10/03/2024: Village restaurant with slightly retro premises. Average food accompanied by good service. The wine list is practically absent and for a place in Piedmont this is quite a flaw.
26/02/2024: passando per la strada non ci mi sarei fermato, sembrava un bar normale con tavola calda.. ma.. su consiglio ci sono andato e devo fare veramente i complimenti a tutto lo staff capitanati dal simpaticissimo e bravo(professionalemte) corrado , il cuoco. (non dico chef dato che odio nouvelle cuisine e chef in divisa). vera trattoria dove si mangia di qualita' e anche come piace a me con la giusta e generosa quantita'. presi antipasti (ottimi veramenente) un risotto al castelmagno (buono anche se non ho sentito proprio il gusto di quel tipo di formaggio) e tagliata come secondo. solo 1/4 di vino, mia moglie ha saltato il secondo , zero dolci caffe' etc perchè eravamo pieni e soddisfatti. complimenti veramente! siamo di genova e quindi un po lontani ma se capito di nuovo ci ritorno sicuramente !

12/02/2024: Elegant and quiet environment, well-spaced tables to maintain good privacy between customers, excellent service with attentive staff, present, but never intrusive. Good choice of wines. I really appreciated the friendliness, the restaurant is suitable for a relaxing dinner, I don't recommend it to those who want to eat in a hurry, but for me this is an advantage and not a flaw when I decide to dine in an elegant and refined place I leave the rush outside the door. The pleasure of food must be enjoyed with the right slowness and tranquility, it is a pleasure, not an obligation. Coming to the cuisine, the dishes are well presented and cared for, the quality is excellent, a restaurant where you can taste the specialty things of classic Piedmontese cuisine (agnolotti, shaved, roasts, I personally recommend the rabbit and the agnolotti, the desserts are also excellent, I couldn't to taste the cheeses, but the trolley was mouth watering. I highly recommend it for a dinner for two with the right company
