I will go back because I was in a hurry and couldn't try more dishes. Spinach and ricotta tortelloni with Tuscan ragù ok. Boiled chickpeas ok.

One of the tops in the city of Prato, it brought people from Florence and Scandicci who were enchanted by the goodness, quality and value for money. Lapo forever, congratulations and continue with the traditional dishes I recommend!

I had lunch in this place with a mix of ancient and modern and a very familiar atmosphere. Really good restaurant, where both waiters and chefs demonstrated great dedication and professionalism. Thanks again.

Splendid trattoria, where you can taste real dishes of Tuscan and Prato cuisine, exquisite appetizers and rosticciana, but the handcrafted desserts were the icing on the cake. Normal prices, well-kept place. Congratulations, it really deserves to return.

Pici with mushrooms, cheese and truffle (oil) nothing special.... Caramel/orange panna cotta and berry cheesecake, excellent. Nice environment and good service, average prices. I won't be returning.

Ho cenato in questa trattoria storica di Prato con alcuni amici e ricordo quella serata con vero piacere: si stratta di un locale molto gradevole con una sala spaziosa e con tavoli ben distanziati. Ambiente pieno dell’atmosfera di vecchia trattoria toscana e soprattutto arricchito dalla presenza di un personale bravissimo ed assolutamente disponibile. Nulla da ridire sui diversi piatti che abbiamo ordinato: tutti molto buoni (compresi i dessert) ed alcuni decisamente eccellenti. Prezzi accettabilissimi, servizio non sempre rapidissimo. Possibilità di parcheggio abbastanza problematica in quella zona.

Una trattoria sulla piazza Mercatale, all imbocco del centro storico. Un locale d altri tempi in cui tutto sembra essersi fermato a decenni fa. Anche la cucina é quella tipica delle famiglie toscane con sapori e profumi casalinghi, il menu é tipicamente caratteristico del luogo ed i prezzi sono competitivi. Fanno da padrone i sughi ed i secondi di terra, dolci della casa. Non aspettatevi un ambiente stellato, ma si mangia bene spendendo il giusto.

09/03/2024: Partiamo dal presupposto che stiamo parlando di una enoteca e pertanto il fatto che ci sia una grande varietà di vini è quasi scontato. Non altrettanto scontato il fatto che il cibo sia ottimo ed il servizio eccellente. Sicuramente una bella scoperta.
02/03/2024: Una serata piacevole, con alcune mancanze. Al momento della scelta del vino, mancavano ben tre etichette, che però sono presenti sulla lista ufficiale del loro sito. Vino a calice estremamente caro ( 8 euro ). Il cibo buono , ma con qualche pecca: il tonno del chianti era segnalato nei piatti caldi, ma arrivato quasi freddo. Il baccalà mantecato sapeva poco di baccalà e molto di latte. Atmosfera del locale carina, sconto applicato correttamente.

20/02/2024: Lunch at Buonamici in the historic center It is a characteristic place (bar and lunch point) in the heart of Prato, carefully managed by Alfredo and his collaborators. The food is good, with typical Tuscan dishes such as peposo and other traditional Florentine specialties. Prices are affordable for UNIFI students thanks to their agreement. The service is friendly and attentive, and I appreciate the fact that there is no cover charge. On weekends, the bar also offers evening aperitifs, making it an ideal place to spend time with friends. I highly recommend a visit to Buonamici for an authentic and welcoming dining experience.
