Really fantastic dinner with a complete menu, all the ingredients are either of their own production or of local producers. Delicious traditional dishes, rich in flavor and plentiful. Local awarded slow food 2024 and you can feel it! We had a really good time!

Excellent experience. We just had lunch at table 13 overlooking the mountains. The quality of the food is excellent and above all they are fast and friendly. If you want to have a pleasant lunch from every point of view, this is the right place.

It's a little off the beaten track but it's worth a try. The dishes are an expression of local cuisine, simple but of the highest quality and superb execution. Try the fontina biscuits with lard and the polenta concia with porcini mushrooms. Friendly staff, excellent value for money.

Excellent for eating in company

Known through friends, very welcoming trattoria, very kind staff present but never intrusive. Exceptional dishes of unique goodness! From the delicious appetizers to the polenta with exquisite stew and the absolutely delicious dessert. I recommend going because you really enjoy everything. We will happily return even if today with the pouring rain it was equally characteristic. Many compliments again to all the staff!

The Omens restaurant is a typical Aosta Valley restaurant where you can enjoy real polenta still made in the cauldron, cooked slowly on the wood stove with 0 km flour and respecting times and ingredients as per tradition. Polenta concia is definitely their strong point! Netto (the owner's father) has always been a supporter of this excellent typical dish. There are different variations of the tasting menus depending on how much you want to eat and spend, they also have an à la carte menu. The raw materials used in their delicacies are 0 km and this choice, in addition to the expert culinary preparation, makes their proposals among the most genuine, truly typical and succulent that can be found in the Aosta Valley. Other dishes you can enjoy are the soup, which can vary depending on the season, their excellent cold cuts, Fontina biscuits with Arnad lard, potatoes with cotechini, chestnuts with excellent butter, stew with wine red, sausage with sauce, a spectacular Cogne cream and various other sweet options. Their condiments for first courses are exclusively produced by them, ranging from Fontina fondue, to wild boar ragù, to chestnut béchamel and finishing with an excellent meat ragù, combined with excellent quality fresh pasta. Most of the dishes are still cooked slowly on the wood stove, thus maintaining their flavors and aromas. Elvia's team (the owner) is made up of her family and some collaborators who have been at their side for years and will know how to pamper you and best accompany you on your culinary journey. The place is rustic, very clean, simple but well looked after, has its own parking, a play area for children and is surrounded by greenery. In short, a little corner of paradise! Reservation recommended.

Merita il viaggio da Moncalieri

Una trattoria rustica ed accogliente, raggiungibile dopo una serie di tornanti e posizionata in un piccolo agglomerato di case alla fine della strada che sale da Verres ma assolutamente da provare! Personale gentilissimo, che con sorrisi e simpatia accoglie la clientela nella loro casa proponendo piatti della tradizione che sono uno più goloso dell'altro! Noi abbiamo scelto di assaggiare i biscotti di Fontina con lardo caldo di Arnad, quadrotti di ricotta e spinaci con fonduta di Fontina e polenta con porri, tutti divinamente buoni; il mio compagno poi ha apprezzato molto l'assaggio di polenta concia a lui riservato dal titolare, che passava per il locale portandola alla clientela. Non abbiamo assaggiato il dessert in quanto eravamo sazi ma abbiamo preso 2 ottimi caffè. Unica nota negativa: i bagni (sia maschile sia femminile) sono esterni e d'inverno oppure in orario serale non è piacevole lasciare il caldo del locale per andare alla toilette ma questo non pregiudica il nostro giudizio totalmente positivo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

Pranzo a menu' fisso con una ventina di amici, al secondo turno di una domenica a pranzo. Buoni gli antipasti, anche se un po' miserelli, buona la sopa valdostana, salsiccia e spezzatino nulla di che'. Personale gentile, locale molto rumoroso, prezzo altino per un menu' fisso.
