Small food store with good sausages and cheeses.
But if there's one thing it stands out for, it's for its homemade dishes that you can buy to take away or taste there since they have tables.
The opening hours are much longer than those of traditional restaurants, making it ideal to grab a bite to eat if it's past lunchtime or, on the contrary, you want to have dinner very early.

We were just in Matera for 1 week, staying in an apt. We went to a restaurant that we were not impressed with and tend to shy away from restaurants that have menus in 2-4 languages. We came here because of a recommendation and it was amazing. We ended up coming here 5 different times, buying take ou each time and eating back at our apt. The food was amazing, the family who own and run it are super friendly. We are in Lecce now and still taking about the food (eggplant, sausages, pasta, sepia, and fantastic Matera bread among other things we don't know the names of) we bought there. Thank you, Ana!

An utterly wonderful spot! Everything was so delicious we came back twice. The panini, focaccia, caponata & aubergine were all fantastic! The people running it were also absolutely lovely and put up with my partner’s attempts to speak Italian!

Family run place.
Very picturesque.
The sandwiches are excellent, especially the one with sausage and caramelized onion.
The service was quite fast.

Il locale è sulla strada,ma anche se può passare inosservato, è come il vino buono che sta nella botte piccola. Ho mangiato degli ziti con melanzane al sugo, veramente eccezionali. Complimenti alla signora, vera cuoca per passione alla faccia di tutti quei ristoranti (?) che non sanno fare neanche un'insalata mista. Panini personalizzati, zuppa, primi e verdure di tutti i tipi, per asporto e da mangiare sul posto. Prezzi modici..

Posticino genuino in una traversa del.centro di Matera.
È possibile sia consumare sul posto primi, secondi ed antipasti (abbiamo fatto così per cena) sia prendere un'ottima puccia con degli ottimi affettati d'asporto.
Gastronomia ottina ed economica.
