A Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. My husband and I were passing through with our two children and we were welcomed by the very nice owner in a beautiful location! We all had to order different things as I was pregnant, the small children had their needs and my husband loved raw food! We were fully satisfied with total lightness, sublime food, well presented dishes, freshness and quality, absolutely recommended. We paid the right amount, in fact, the owner was so kind as to even offer us drinks! It's a shame that we are far away but we will find a way to come back specifically to taste more!

Un pranzo a Villa Magi è stato il regalo per il mio compleanno: non potevo chiedere di meglio. Le mie papille gustative hanno festeggiato con me! Dall'antipasto al dolce tutto eccellente e assolutamente squisito. Professionalità, ospitalità e qualità! Lo consiglio di cuore.

10.14.2023 The proposed fish-based menu consisted of a rich appetizer, two excellent first courses, fantastic fried food, pecorino white wine. All excellent service, excellent innovative menu with refined and quality olfactory and taste proposals. Excellent value for money.

Il Casale

30/03/2024: Very welcoming atmosphere and excellent cuisine. Often coming from Rome to Abruzzo we stop here in the evening for a stop in the pizzeria. It has become a very pleasant stop because here at Casale the pizza (but not only) is truly excellent. The environment, recently renovated, is pleasant and very welcoming, well furnished and heated in the cold months. The staff we have known for many years are very kind and friendly. It is recommended
25/03/2024: During a trip to the village of Aielli, (known for the murals and works created by some famous or less famous street artists), we decide to have lunch at the "Il Casale" restaurant. Located approximately 1.5 km from the center of Aielli. Surrounded by greenery, there is this ancient farmhouse. Easy to reach. It's impossible not to have it, because it's a very bright red colour. The facility is very large and well maintained. Large car park adjacent to the structure. An outdoor garden. It's clear that the owners care. It is also used as a room for various occasions such as weddings etc. At the entrance we are welcomed by one of the 3 owners (the restaurant is family-run and run by 3 brothers) who, with a big smile, makes us sit in one of the rooms. The rooms are well cared for, few objects cover the walls. Some are very old. but positioned in the right place. The second brother approaches the table and, after having ascertained the various allergies and intolerances, takes the orders, carefully describing the dishes to us. - Homemade appetizer (cheeses, cured meats and vegetables. All zero km). - The first: Trofie asparagus and lemon. The trofie are al dente, covered with fine asparagus and a cream probably made with an asparagus smoothie and a touch of lemon which creates a wonderful combination. Ravioli with walnut cream....... without words, to taste, savor, smell and enjoy. Even if someone says that "it's not polite".... to do the slipper, it is a must to clean up the dishes and finish the delicious cream that surrounds them. - Seconds: Local sausage with vegetable side dish. The meat, cooked just right, not too spicy, soft and really good. The vegetables tasted like freshly picked vegetables and not plastic or derivatives, as often happens when bought at the supermarket. - The wine A red. Collefrisio Cellars - Appassimento. Grapes 60% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, 20% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot. Harvest / Second ten days of October for Montepulciano and Sangiovese, second ten days of September for Merlot. Ruby red color with light violet reflections. On the nose, dog rose and wild violet, fruity with red fruit in alcohol and ripe plum, a light hint of spices. Complex wine, with excellent structure, soft and enveloping. Persistent on the palate. - The coffee: (Usually in restaurants, coffee is a big risk, for those looking for a real coffee, creamy, that is not burnt or watered down, that coffee that tastes great and leaves the cup stained just right) We are also in this We were satisfied because the coffee was really good. Finally we stopped to have a chat with the owners. Lino, Enzo and Gianni, who told us about the passion that their father, who returned from Canada, had in opening this place about 40 years ago. Today they are the ones who carry on this tradition, with so much passion and dedication. The products are from local or zero km producers, and you can feel it. The farmhouse is not only a restaurant, but also a pizzeria and I hope to be able to return soon to try that too. Finally, one of them suggested some other hidden corners of Aielli to visit and admire. Then we discovered that one of them is the artist who created the work "the arch of books", at least that's what we wanted to call it. A staircase inside an arch, where the roof is covered with books, fixed to the ceiling with rivets for the installation of the plasterboard. Thank you Gentlemen, this is an example of a family-run restaurant, where we truly felt at home. Your passion and dedication for cooking and hospitality is the recipe for your success. A greeting.
