24/03/2024: I ate there last Sunday and it was fabulous, the food was delicious, the welcome was fantastic, the owners are kind, Carmine is the real number 1 in the kitchen, Mariapia and Arianna are sweet and exquisite people but all the rest of the staff are also kind people , nice and hard workers, congratulations to all 💞
03/03/2024: After almost 40 years I returned to what was the trattoria da Artibano, now Taverna Bacco e Tabacco. Ate very well as we ate in the past also because like 40 years ago there is always Carmine in the kitchen.. Highly recommended

07/03/2024: Highly recommended! Cozy and refined historic venue in the historic center of Penne. The staff were friendly and prepared. The mastery of the dishes leaves you enraptured by the combination of flavors and the refined raw materials. Really balanced price.

01/04/2024: Located in Penne, Abruzzo, next to Lago di Penne it has a beautiful setting when the lake is full and the Gran Sasso has snow. Overall the food is good, especially their meat , Lamb, mutton and veal. Their service is above average and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend a visit at least.

06/01/2024: Highly recommended, despite it being a Saturday evening, immediate service, the staff always helpful and friendly, never intrusive, I ate some excellent hand-made kebabs, to say the least, both the normal ones and the liver ones, the pizza was also very good and I'm curious to go back to try other specialties

21/08/2023: Our party of four turned up without a reservation but we received a warm welcome. The staff were very accommodating the food was excellent. Lovely Calzone Pizza and Chicken Salad + Chips. Good beer and wine. Desert, Tiramisu and Coffee to end the meal. A little gem in Penne not to be missed!

28/12/2023: We spent Christmas in this special farmhouse, which tastes like home!
The food was excellent, there was music, hospitality.
The structure is wonderful inside and out.
I made a great impression with relatives who came from abroad, so I can only thank you again and I can't wait to return soon and experience a few hours of tranquility.

17/03/2024: I had a great time, it is located a stone's throw from the Pescara Nord motorway exit where I first encountered a lot of helpfulness and courtesy. I ate a mixed meat base of lamb/sheep/pork, all excellent. Even though I arrived with the place almost full and with a reservation made 10 minutes before, therefore almost non-existent, I ate almost immediately, only 15/20 minutes. waiting time as indicated by the waiter. I recommend it 1000%. Then it's not a given that you'll find top-notch handmade typical kebabs at lunchtime.
25/02/2024: Some of the worst roasts I've ever eaten.
Staff who don't bring us dessert because according to them "everyone is finished"
And in all this we paid €40 each….
Very disappointed, won't be returning
