07/04/2024: Living nearby, I have never stayed in the hotel but I have often used the takeaway service. Last Friday evening, however, I had dinner with some friends in their restaurant. I started with the idea of ​​having a pizza, my other friend with fish but then we all three ordered meat... Well, in addition to fish, they also know how to cook meat. I had meatballs with sauce, with a side dish of sautéed turnips and baked peppers, accompanied by an excellent house red wine. To finish on a high note: a thousand leaves with salted caramel topping, coffee and gentian. In summary: an excellent dinner with impeccable table service and the kindness of Mr. Domenico, which is always the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

From the first telephone contact I could perceive the kindness and welcome of Mr. Francesco, a perception which then materialized once we arrived, we were pampered by the impeccable and kind service, we tasted the delicious dishes on the menu: a pleasure for the eyes and for the throat😊 We immediately felt at home and, as a gentleman we met there (a long-time customer) said, the Black Rooster is like a nest to which the swallow always returns... Mr. Francesco, we too will be back soon! Highly recommended

02/12/2023: Quite some time after our stay in this wonderful property I can find the words for a review. Wonderful hotel facing the sea, when you really want a holiday "by the sea"! Welcomed by kind, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Large room, always clean, with a priceless sea view balcony, large bathroom with window. Breathtaking solarium area. Free bike rental, just to adjust the brakes a little. Quiet, non-intrusive entertainment, we got to know Francesco, the head animator, a wonderful person. Very high quality restaurant, choice of menus every day for adults and children, theme evenings. Cooking for many guests without ever losing quality is not easy. We had the honor and pleasure of having Daniela at the tables, a very sweet, professional, nice person, one of those people you carry in your heart! In short, I've gone on and on, but it's one of these places worth returning to, those places you have to try to have a wonderful experience! Thanks for everything.

The pieces of tuna were many and also very large. I would probably review the "logistics" of the sandwich a little since being very full, and having to eat it standing up, it is difficult not to get dirty. Even though we had to queue for a long time it was worth it, maybe next time I'll try the salad version. Very kind cashier and excellent raw material.
