21/02/2024: Serata all’insegna del gustoso cibo africano, ingredienti armonici e di prima qualità. Dopo l’ottimo antipasto, la proposta del piatto unico è risultata molto bilanciata. La simpaticissima signora in sala ci ha consigliato al meglio su cosa scegliere in base alle nostre esigenze. Musica gradevole di sottofondo. Dolci non africani ma sublimi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consigliamo vivamente.
18/02/2024: Ristorante essenziale, pulito, con pochi tavoli, gestito dalla madre in sala e dal figlio in cucina. La titolare e’ presente e cordiale, molto attenta e prodiga di suggerimenti sul menu’ e sul vino. I piatti sono ottimi, ben presentati e si sente che il prodotto è di qualità. Buonissimi i Samosa di pasta fillo ripieni di verdura. La portata principale è un armonioso piatto unico a base di riso profumato o cous cous, con verdure croccanti, salsa a scelta di accompagnamento e selezione di carni o pesce. Piacevolmente stupiti anche dall’alto livello della proposta di dolci italiani al cucchiaio che i titolari tengono a curare anche se naturalmente non rientrano nella loro cucina etnica. Madre e figlio si intrattengono a chiacchierare piacevolmente con gli ospiti contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera rilassata e “confidenziale”. Bella serata!

29/03/2024: Simpatico ristorante Eritreo/Etiope dove si mangia un ottimo zighini, rigorosamente con le mani (a richiesta portano la forchetta). Menù piuttosto ridotto ma molto buono, Un po' troppo caro, se non si va con The Fork.
23/03/2024: Small restaurant serving typical Eritrean cuisine. Cozy but characteristic environment. Very friendly and helpful service. Large plates to share and eat with your hands. Various degrees of spiciness. A pleasant alternative. We will be back.

04/03/2024: Senegalese restaurant, with few seats and few dishes (which is a good sign). The mixed starters and beef are good. However, I didn't like the fish skewers. Service was confusing and a little disorganized but not rude. The environment is not bad, but nothing special. The prices are high, perhaps too high for what they offer. Average rating.
14/02/2024: Se piace il cibo etnico è certamente da provare. La ragazza che ci ha servito era molto attenta ed era evidente che tenesse alla buona riuscita della nostra cena. Il cibo molto buono e ben cucinato. Se piace il cibo etnico è un ristorante consigliato.

18/03/2024: Un minuscolo locale con 4/5 tavoli frequentato quasi esclusivamente da senegalesi. La simpatia e la cortesia di Mouna ci ha permesso di assaggiare i piatti tipici del Senegal ed è stata una piacevole esperienza, tutti buoni, ovviamente se piacciono i cibi speziati e piuttosto saporiti. Il tutto accompagnato da una squisita bevanda al Karkadè che è stata una vera scoperta. Al termine abbiamo provato anche i dolci ed anche questi li abbiamo trovati deliziosi.

30/03/2024: We ate at this restaurant with a group of friends and our child. Friendly, fast and impeccable service. Excellent and spicy food (a little spicy). Being an ethnic restaurant you have to adapt to the local traditions... and you eat with your hands sharing with the others at the table. Excellent African wine. Restaurant owner ready to answer every question. Truly a great experience. We will definitely be back.
25/03/2024: Always nice to come here. I had been missing for some time but it is a pleasure to see that everything has remained the same, in particular finding Mr. Berehe to welcome you again. First time way back in 2008. Try it.

10/03/2024: Add to your answer Courtesy is not up for debate, I congratulate you, but the answer given. I'm sorry but I wasn't able to accept it, and for me it's €7 for 1 very simple margherita. I'm a little too sorry, given the previous increase already made in the short time from you. I can understand it, but I don't accept it, given that everything revolves around the area (customers/position/etc.) forgive me but it's not a €7 area, you rightly opt for something else, and no less good, the same. Thank you anyway

I often take takeaway pizza and last time 2 margheritas €12 was the cashier's response. today is Saturday it costs €1 more, €14/2 simple daisies I don't even know if something like this is legal

16/03/2024: Homemade Senegalese cuisine absolutely worth trying in a welcoming, familiar and always clean and tidy environment.
I couldn't give advice on the dishes because I found them all very good....
...perhaps for the first time I would recommend the Thiebou Djeune, a single dish with rice, vegetables and fish. 🤩
Ps: I add photos of the times. Open for dinner only Friday and Saturday

13/02/2024: A small corner of Somalia in the neighborhood.
The service was quick and kind: I ordered takeaway but while I was waiting the manager offered me a herbal tea which I found excellent.
I took the famous sambusas (the ones with vegetables) served with spicy sauce: excellent. I chose the turmeric rice as my main course which I really liked.
It was my first time trying this place but I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

24/02/2024: Small and super welcoming place! The owner is very nice and makes you feel at home! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical products of the Eritrean tradition 🇪🇷 delicious and genuine dishes. We discovered the place by chance, but it was an interesting discovery! Absolutely worth trying ❤️

10/03/2024: Noi siamo entrati intorno alle 12.45 quando il locale era ancora vuoto e abbiamo potuto ammirarlo nella sua interezza senza altri ospiti. È davvero un bell’ambiente, pittoresco e caldo.
Il menù è molto semplice, si compone di 3 antipasti, noi abbiamo preso le due tipologie di samosa (vegetariani e ripieni di carne) davvero ottimi e lo zighini che può essere di diverse tipologie, noi abbiamo scelto quello con la carne di manzo.
Il piattone è squisito e si esce sazi anche perchè lo staff che è davvero gentile chiede sempre se si gradiscono dei bis.
Discreta la carta dei vini, sono tutti sudafricani e conto medio basso per gli standard milanesi.
Noi in due con una bottiglia di vino a 25 euro abbiamo speso 85 euro.
Da provare almeno una volta anchè perchè si mangia tutto rigorosamente con le mani!
04/03/2024: Da tempo desideravo provare la cucina eritrea/etiope e finalmente ho potuto provare con mano (nel vero senso della parola!). Ho pranzato con il mio fidanzato e suo figlio al Warsà un sabato a pranzo e abbiamo ovviamente optato per la condivisione di uno zighinì di manzo, metà piccante e metà non piccante, contornato da tante verdure deliziose e speziate. Abbiamo mangiato con le mani, come vuole l'usanza, ed è stato un po' come tornare bambini, seduti ad un tavolo tradizionale. Il cibo è veramente buono, anche il piccante non è eccessivo e non sovrasta la moltitudine di sapori, assolutamente adatto anche ai bambini, è sicuramente un'esperienza particolare da condividere. Al termine del pasto viene servita una tisana alla cannella e chiodi di garofano molto aromatica e davvero digestiva.
Il locale è bellissimo, molto curato e tipico, il servizio eccezionale, molto disponibile e gentile, cosa assolutamente non scontata. Un grandissimo applauso a questo piccolo angolo d'Africa nel cuore di Milano. Prezzi commisurati all'esperienza e alla qualità dei cibi, Consigliatissimo!
