07/04/2024: Tasty discovery in Sant'Agata: the managers of a fresh pasta shop opened a small restaurant in the center of the town some time ago. The environment is modest, the food is not! Top quality ingredients, accurate and very tasty preparations, also very well presented. I ate an excellent stuffed courgette flower and a very tasty local fish fillet. The artisanal pastiera served at the end of the meal is also very good. A discovery and a place to return to, which would deserve a room more suited to the level of preparations.

06/04/2024: Exquisite!!! What if you order a steak it costs 100g, that should be fixed but in general everything is fine!!

14/03/2024: Super recommended place. Tasting menu consisting of 10 finger foods, 8 dishes with cutlery (including dessert) and a very generous small pastry. Very high level of cuisine, worthy of two Michelin stars. A special thank you to Gabriele, the waiter who took care of the table, for his care in describing the dishes and for acting as a guide in the cellar and in the laboratory. The only note is that maybe I would have added 1-2 courses to the menu

05/04/2024: very nice location, excellent food but parking to be avoided, the parking attendants force you to attack the cars that you almost can't get out of, the result is that the first goat who parks next to you damages your car. When I got home I found the door scratched by a door. . My car is a few days old

04/04/2024: An enchanting place, one of the most beautiful in the world. Unique elegant and refined atmosphere. Excellent service and delicious food. The medium-high price suited to the experience.

23/01/2024: Wonderful staff...excellant restaurant with unbeatable sunset... Beautiful hotel although arriving by sea from Capri was a bad start For what is the top hotel in the area they have no one meeting you from ferries to help with luggage as the top hotels do in nearby Capri. In fact, there is no help available anywhere to help with luggage and the very long walk with two large suitcases on uneven ground then with lots of steps up to vehicle pickup level is very difficult indeed for older people. Local government should sort this out. Not hotel’s fault. The general manager told me it is a big problem and that the hotel have difficulties with local authorities about this. General manager is a lovely guy. This is a very well run hotel which is absolutely beautiful. They have the most fabulous terrace where breakfast is served. Complimentary cocktails served by the pool were a lovely touch. We will definitely return.

19/01/2024: We stayed for 2 weeks in Sept 2017. First room they put us in wasn't to our liking - but they moved us to a room higher up and away from the noise of the terrace. Food was good - table services for dinner; buffet for breakfast. If you want to swim in the sea access to the public area is five mins - just make sure you turn left at the bottom, go through the gate and down the metal/wooden steps. Otherwise, on the right is Spiagga la Marinella, which is private and you pay . Update: you can almost always get access to public beaches in Italy - just do a bit of research first. If you are like me and only want to go down for a swim, then paying for access and bed isn't worth for me.

26/02/2024: I have been coming from love for exactly 15 years. Walking area and may give the idea of ​​being touristy due to the area in which it is located, but it is not at all!! Over many years, I have been able to witness the evolution and growth of this magical place. Furthermore, this year I enjoyed the magnificent dishes of chef Pasquale Rinaldo. Welcome entrée with attention to detail (that butter with anchovy?! And what are we talking about?!). Space smoked tartare!!! And then the first one that I preferred was the carbonara with scampi. A true ENJOYMENT, not only for the palate, but also for the nose! You can't tell, you have to try. So if you are in Capri you can't miss stopping by d'amore.

25/10/2023: In my opinion, there is no finer restaurant in Capri. I have gone here every year I have come and D'Amore always pleases. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The staff, are the greatest. You get much more than you ask for here and everything is exquisite. Thank you Marco Pasquale, Tonino, Antonella, Ernesto and all of your waiters for making me feel appreciated. See you next year! And, don't remember la musica!

27/03/2024: Average pizza, inappropriate for the price. The dough is weak, and the pizza itself reminds me of native bread soups. Pizza from a random place for €5 is much better. Nice place, tablecloths, stylized as a serious restaurant. The restaurant is located in a pleasant corner. The service was polite, but instead of a glass or a small bottle, I was brought two 1L bottles of water, the prices of which I'm afraid to check, I felt stretched. Overall, I recommend going elsewhere, the food here is average and the prices are very high.

22/03/2024: Visited on a Sunday in Mid-March '24 as some restaurants were just closed completely for 2 weeks or closed early. The restaurant seems upscale based on their decor and their prices. The food was okay, nothing to sing praises about. Went for their Ziti with Genovese (€20) and my partner opted to go for their special of the day which was cod with baked potatoes (€30), for that price you'd think you'd at least get a decent portion; but this was tiny, 2 chunks of cod fillet with a salad and roast potatoes. Ordered their tiramisu (€10) which was nice but found it to be dry. This is another establishment that we found to be pushy about tipping. Once you ask for the bill, they come with a silver plate with a piece of paper stating 'if paying electronically, please write how much you are tipping'. We left this blank (the servers came to take our order, delivered food) and left us alone (which is ok). The server (who we didn't even encounter during our meal) highlighted this again and asked how much for the tip. We refused. The restaurant was nice and we were seated right away (it was very quiet) but the prices didn't reflect the quality of the food.

16/03/2024: The pearl restaurant has always been, and is, an excellent restaurant. I personally always go for takeaway pizza and it is always excellent because it always uses quality products. In the past I have been a guest in various ceremonies at the restaurant and we always had a fabulous meal. I know the owners who are always very kind and professional in their work. I have eaten a lot of meat and consequently I have also tried many butcher shops but since I discovered this butcher shop on tik tok and after trying it I always go there, to understand how good it is and how much I like it, just think that I travel 40 km there and 40 return to go there, Trentola Ducenta was already special for me because my mother was from there and many relatives live there in Trentola Ducenta but now it is super since I discovered De Marco Carni. Super quality and prices even lower than the others (certainly due to the quantity they sell) you take a number to be served and it is always full of people and for me this was the first input when I arrived the first time (the people of that area he understands the good stuff and how)
