12/03/2024: Menù Colori e Sapori, semplicemente perfetto: gusti, equilibri, quantità. Rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato senza sconto, con la promozione decisamente conveniente. Un plauso anche al servizio, pntuale e mai invadente o ingessato. Proverò senza dubbio anche l' esperienza del loro nuovo home restaurant certo che non ne sarò deluso.

05/04/2024: Hidden away but worth the visit. We were very late for our reservation but it wasn't as busy as the cafe upstairs. We ordered the snails, the agnotti pasta and the Rossini and foie gras. The snails were a little salty for our liking but both the pasta and the Rossini were excellent quality. Not the cheapest lunch but the service is good as is the food.
31/03/2024: I found this restaurant (run by chef Stefano Fanti) quite special looking for something of a good standard but not obvious.
I knew that the atmosphere and the place were full of history because it was located in an ancient building on the first floor near the Circolo dei Lettori of Turin.
Unfortunately, many give it a bad review, confusing it with another bistro in the same building.
I then phoned and the chef himself responded, agreeing with my feeling.
The dishes were very interesting, the service was excellent but not intrusive, the place was delicious, the bill was adequate.
Only piece of advice: review the "deconstructed bicerin" which is absolutely not up to the standard of the rest.
I will happily return

Went last night, very kind owner.
We hadn't booked but the owner found us a place anyway. It's best to book because it's small.
Very good food. Highly recommended for evenings before the theater like we did. Prices normal
We will definitely return.
24/03/2024: We ate on site, excellent value for money. The fried gnocco with ham was delicious! We will be back for sure

17/03/2024: Cena con la famiglia. Piaciuta a tutti. Il posto è grande, parecchia gente, ma poco rumoroso ed il servizio valido. Il personale è molto gentile e serve con il giusto ritmo. Piatti molto buoni, dagli antipasti al dolce. Consiglio in particolare l’antipasto a base di lumache, il cervo, la trota ed lo zabaione. Non economico, ma merita.
Da ritornare.

Meanwhile, I must compliment the dining room staff who took care of every detail: the woman is always served first and they are also not always formal and super helpful. I appreciated the chance to win by scratching off a digital scratch card (my boyfriend won a bitter and I won a bottle of wine for our next dinner).
The place is small, but very welcoming. The dishes are plentiful and offer Piedmontese and other specialties. There are vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat options. The risotto with pistachio cream is delicious, the desserts are excellent. There are several options for wine, even by the glass.

It was the first visit but certainly the first of many.
The sandwiches are certainly xxl and the quality of the ingredients is also good.
The Ascoli olives are good.
However, applause goes to the simplest and not at all obvious: the French fries, which deserve a chapter of their own. First of all with fresh potatoes and then with a light breadcrumbing... good

28/03/2024: After many years I returned to this small, warm and welcoming restaurant... I wanted to make a good impression on a guest and it went very well. The owner is always super friendly and nice and attentive to the needs of his customers. The quality of the food is excellent and the fish very fresh. The portions are generous. Fantastic desserts. Super pampered... Excellent value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

24/03/2024: We had dinner at this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We booked the evening before and the owner was very kind because at the time of the phone call he was in full service but he contacted us again to confirm availability. Cozy place. Small square a few steps away for parking. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. We ate very well and the portions were definitely generous. We took a platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by balls of fried pizza, macaroni al ferretto with 'ndujia and smoked provola, tagliolini with white ragù, paccheri with pumpkin, crispy bacon and taleggio cream (dish of the day), very fine Aosta Valley veal , steak with potato chips and mixed grill. Everything excellent!!!

06/04/2024: This is an excellent 100% gluten-free bakery that has delicious pastries (amazing croissants! So difficult to find good GF ones!), sandwiches, and focaccias, with plenty of seating on the upper level. We went here a few times while we were in Turin and loved it.
02/04/2024: What an absolute amazing gluten-free bakery! Unbelievable quality, flavour and choice! I will go every time in Turin. If you have celiac disease this is a must stop. If you just want a fantastic bakery/lunch spot - this is a must stop for you too!
