20/02/2024: The best for quality, goodness and price. Every time I come I understand that there is nothing better. Unique dishes in flavour, right portions and great quality of ingredients. Today I tasted some handmade tagliatelle, with fresh (not defrosted) porcini mushrooms as is tradition for the place. For the second course, the fillet with green pepper which, given how soft it was, melted in your mouth; in my opinion they should call it "what no one else knows how to cook" on the menu. Seeing is believing and rely on the advice of Sandro and Anna the owners, you won't be able to wait to return. A final word on prices: in terms of quality and price they are unmatched. Bon appetit 😋

06/04/2024: Informal but refined place. We had dinner with friends after the spa. The service was courteous, impeccable and very kind. The unsurpassed Maremma tortelli. Very soft boar. Delicious homemade tiramisu. The glasses are beautiful. In short, a triumph. Definitely coming back

02/04/2024: Fantastic Experience! I went with 3 friends for Easter Monday lunch. The place in its simplicity is warm welcoming with a simple spirit, a house of tradition. Welcomed with kindness and friendliness by all the staff, always polite and kind. Rich menu. We start by tasting delicious bruschetta with lard, and liver and onion crostini...a true delicacy, the latter literally WON me over. Next we obviously choose homemade tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, and AMAZING ravioli with butter and sage, a thinly rolled pasta that melts in your mouth. We continue with grilled pork… each piece of meat cooked to perfection with remarkable quality and flavour. What to say about the sweet tiramisu Excellent, noteworthy! The trifle served in a jar is also very good... not to mention the puffs filled with pistachio cream chosen as an extra, because we absolutely wanted to try them too... wine from a winery recommended and carefully explained by the very knowledgeable girl, coffee water and a good passito to conclude a really high level lunch. The biggest surprise was a bill that surprised us positively and pleasantly. Very friendly and kind in offering us passito for everyone and the extra dessert. Experience that I will remember, EVERYTHING RIGHT, highly recommended. The plus was the owners who often came to make sure that everything was going well and to exchange a few words at the table with us, with a kind, calm and smiling manner... stuff from times gone by. Oltre al sempre apprezzato fuori menu degli antipasti di mare, ottima la zuppa di pesce "Il Caldaro dell'Argentario", molto bene la frittura e delizioso il cheesecake al caramello salato. Calici di vino abbinati su consiglio del proprietario e gradito il vino liquoroso offerto.

26/09/2023: I was on holiday in Castiglione and, once I discovered this artisan pasta factory, I couldn't help but try all the products available, even placing orders almost daily. From pici to tortelli, every shape and variant of pasta was truly excellent. The owner Giacomo, in addition to being a REALLY kind and affable person, amazed me with the genius of some of the doughs and advice for preparing the dishes. If you don't feel like preparing your own pasta sauce, sauces and other rotisserie preparations are also available. The cakes are also really good. If you love trying (and cooking) local products when you travel, Giacomo's will certainly have a very positive contribution to your holiday.
