08/03/2024: Unreserved recommendation! The ambience initially raises doubts as to whether you are in the right place. But the reception from Francesco and his son quickly drives them away. And once you try the first antipasti, all doubts will disappear. The Parmigiana di Melanzane is extremely good, the ingredients are in perfect harmony and the eggplant has an ideal consistency. The primi are also very tasty, the pasta is fresh and homemade, as it should be. Our favorite was the pasta with burrata and lemon sauce. T-bone, tagliata and small skewers of lamb are recommended as secondi. All the ingredients for the antipasti, primi and secondi are fresh, of good quality and the dishes are served in a down-to-earth manner and without a lot of “fuss”. The dolci are the – or rather another – highlight. Tiramisu in all three versions offered is hard to resist. If you haven't had eggplant in chocolate sauce yet, you have to try it; if you know it, you should definitely try it. The eggplants in chocolate sauce are a taste experience and for this alone it is worth going to Francesco and Nunzia. She is an incredibly good cook. The wine list is rather limited, but Francesco certainly has a recommendation from the cellar in reserve. The regional wines were consistently of good quality. In general, Cico's attaches great importance to the regionality of the products and also the recipes. Thank you for the culinary travel experience!

12/03/2024: Poco segnalato ma a mio avviso una delle migliori paninoteche napoletane. Il loro punto di forza è sicuramente la qualità della carne. Tutti i loro panini sono accompagnati da patatine. Unica pecca forse è il locale un pò angusto, ma per il resto cibo davvero fantastico

17/03/2024: Sinceramente imbarazzante... Ho ordinato dei pancakes (se vogliamo chiamarli così) senza glutine poiché intollerante e hanno sempre garantito la possibilità di impasto diverso per eventuali intolleranze. Ora dico io, ma non vi sentite in imbarazzo anche solo alla richiesta di un cliente di farsi portare dello sciroppo d'acero per scenderli? Perché praticamente erano così raffermi, insapori, che non scendevano neanche. Ma non fatelo proprio l'impasto se sapete che non è cosa vostra, no? Poi non mi venite a dire "le avevamo consigliato anche le frittelle", si ma se sapete di non essere capaci di fare i pancakes di riso, non mettetevi proprio in mezzo a farli. Mi dispiaceva lasciarli lì perché comunque 7 euro (+1 euro di supplemento per il senza glutine, addirittura) quindi me li sono portati e hanno avuto anche il coraggio di farmi pagare la box 1 euro (ma voi quanto la pagate, 20 centesimi? Ma non vi vergognate?), per dei pancakes che praticamente ho buttato, visto che neanche il cane li avrebbe mangiati e sarebbe stata un'offesa per il cane. Oltre questo, il conto: 26 euro per una "colazione" in cui praticamente ho fatto la fame e neanche la decenza di farmi uno sconto. Ora dico io: non è per i soldi, non è per lo sconto, perché se esco a fare colazione fuori, soprattutto conoscendo i loro prezzi, non vado con l'intenzione di risparmiare. Ma qui si tratta di saper campare, cosa purtroppo non scontata. Ormai l'unico vostro interesse è fatturare e basta, al di là della qualità ma soprattutto della decenza, perché voi così mi avete trattata come un cane, portandomi quella roba. Siete veramente vergognosi, non aggiungo nient'altro perché non ne vale la pena, ma fossi in voi mi rivedrei seriamente, perché se vi capita spesso di servire certa roba, non andrete per le lunghe. Ah, in allegato la consistenza del capolavoro che mi è stato servito.

19/09/2023: As we wandered the streets of Naples looking for a welcoming place to relax after a long walk, we came across the Freak which was for us the El Dorado. The succulent beer that we ordered then came to invigorate our exhausted bodies by sliding delicately down our throats. We can only praise this delicious place which, with its warm soul, embalms our hearts. The location is radiant, almost as much as the waitress who affably welcomed us.
