Low prices in relation to the quality offered.

02/04/2024: We celebrated our 12th year anniversary dinner at Burro Salato and we are glad we did. Food is amazing, they deserve a Michelin star! The best food we have eaten in Matera!

Exclusivity, refinement and quality of the raw materials, combined with the variety of flavors closely related to the seasonality of the products, make this ice cream shop one of a kind, characteristics that confirm the craftsmanship of the product. The ice cream is produced daily by the owner inside the open artisan laboratory, in fact once all the ice cream produced has been finished, being a small family-run ice cream shop, it closes to reopen the next day with a new and fresh production. In short, an ice cream shop worth trying and worth waiting in long queues for, fully rewarded by the unique taste, goodness and quality.

02/04/2024: I had the pleasure of returning to the hotel after a long time. Courtesy, cleanliness, friendliness and customer care distinguish this family-run hotel and restaurant. Worthy of note are the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. I would also like to point out the excellent cuisine of the restaurant, attentive to territoriality and the quality of the products.

13/02/2024: Nel centro di Stigliano, ristrutturato con gusto, molto pulito e profumato. Nella camera anche un’angolo con le tisane. Buonissima e ricca la prima colazione. proprietario accogliente e gentile, ti fa sentire a casa. Hanno anche un ottimo bar e ristorante di cucina tipica.

25/02/2024: Vera cucina greca. Proprietario greco. Piatti, vini, birre, liquori, tutto rigorosamente greco. Servizio, igiene, gentilezza del gestore, tutto impeccabile. Se prendete antipasto, secondo, bevande, dolci e grappa spenderete sui 30/40 euro a persona.

06/04/2024: We celebrated Easter in this very bright restaurant! The service 🔝, the hospitality and the menu exceeded our expectations! Above all, I was surprised to find this level in such a small municipality! The artichoke risotto "forced" almost everyone to repeat it! 😂

06/04/2024: I recommend the place if you are looking for an experiential journey: you will not find the dishes from an "Italian menu" with generous and classic portions, but each product offered is the result of a search for combinations that in my opinion are particular and refined. Surely when you eat out you look for the quality of the food but the eye also wants its part: the atmosphere of the brand new and very welcoming place, the dishes and the kindness of the staff complete everything. I entered this place set up for a birthday for the first time and, after returning several times, I chose it to celebrate mine! Excellent pizza even for me who have problems with yeast. Last but not least, affectionate and extremely helpful owners.

10/03/2024: For those who love peace and tranquility, Casal Dragone is ideal. The place is excellent, home cooking as well as the pleasure of a good glass of wine and the owners are fantastic people and finally the visit to the crypt of original sin cannot be found better in this corner of Basilicata.

08/03/2024: Small food store with good sausages and cheeses. But if there's one thing it stands out for, it's for its homemade dishes that you can buy to take away or taste there since they have tables. The opening hours are much longer than those of traditional restaurants, making it ideal to grab a bite to eat if it's past lunchtime or, on the contrary, you want to have dinner very early.

06/04/2024: Absolutely fabulous... homemade food, cooked with love, served with smile... best place have ever been... beats all surrounding restaurants we visited as such a delicious food and great service can be found only here... loved it and will be hopefully back soon

04/04/2024: We returned after previous experiences with friends. It is always a pleasure to be hosted by Giovanna and Carlo and enjoy their food and their friendliness. It feels like eating at a friends house. Aside from the quality of the cuisine, it is truly incredible how you can interact pleasantly with the guests at the other tables and get involved in a pleasant convivial atmosphere. The desserts invented by Giovanna are special.

A small but welcoming place with furnishings in the typical Matera tuff, both the room and the bathrooms are very clean. The evening view is spectacular if you choose to dine outdoors. 04/03/2024: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso ed è stata una bellissima sorpresa perché abbiamo mangiato super bene! Tutto buonissimo dagli antipasti al panino. Abbiamo preso un tegamino di formaggio fuso e delle bruschette buonissime. Per come e quanto abbiamo mangiato abbiamo speso pochissimo. Ottima location, locale super particolare con personale super attento e gentile. Consiglio!!
