29/03/2024: Pizzeria by the slice in the center of Castrovillari with a branch also in Cosenza.
What to say?
I tried a piece of margherita and one with potatoes, really crunchy and tasty.
Then I also took two pieces of focaccia to take away. There were several tempting things in the shop, for every occasion!
Compliments. I'll try it in Cosenza too!

The pizzeria offers a variety of pizzas and doughs:
For example
Turmeric or wholemeal.
Personally I took a 3 tomatoes which I repeat personally didn't excite me much in terms of taste but I still felt that the dough was excellent!
Variety of beers.
I recommend the mixed starters because they are really plentiful and delicious!
Good experience!
Fair price!

09/11/2023: locale accogliente, sembra di essere a casa propria. La pizza è buonissima, di enormi dimensioni e con vasta scelta. Prezzi bassi, ottima cosa questa, perché così io e i miei amici abbiamo sempre la possibilità di ordinarne una in più. Non c'è attesa e i proprietari sono molto gentili, spesso offrendo anche delle bruschettine e un liquore della casa. Non c'è mai casino, il che permette di chiacchierare tranquillamente. A Castrovillari è il locale dove mi reco più volentieri.

30/03/2024: 40 minuti per ordinare, 1 ora e 30 per le pizze, CRUDE, 15 minuti per pagare. Praticamente un sequestro di persona. Per scusarsi non ci hanno nemmeno offerto il dolce (come si usa fare in questi casi) e ci hanno fatto pagare il conto completo, anzi, per arrotondare abbiamo pure pagato di più. Follia pura. Una stella perché non se ne posso mettere meno.

05/01/2024: I would like to start with the house wine, balanced, fragrant, 11.5% alcohol content; I ate a delicious mixed starter, a veal together with a fresh salad, bran and finally a dessert for what this restaurant offers exceeded my expectations, my family and I had a really good time especially thanks to Giuseppe who helped us well received.

Wide choice on the menu, even for beers. The sandwich, the piadina, the onion rings and especially the potatoes were good.
The service is quick and efficient, the staff friendly.
Finally, the prices are a little above average.

Ristorante Pizzeria Del Cavaliere

20/03/2024: I'm sorry to have to give negative reviews to the restaurants I visit (I generally prefer to ignore it and give the benefit of the doubt), but... when it's needed, it's needed!
It may have been due to the packed place (on a Saturday night), but the organizational machine certainly didn't work. Staff in a clear state of stress, at times irritable, very slow and imprecise service, cuisine... in a hurry, to the point that, for example, my son's long-awaited pasta dish finally arrived RAW! (It would be completely out of place to call it al dente as it wasn't really chewable).
Some of the portions were literally halved compared to others, as if the provisions had proved insufficient compared to the orders taken. Imagine the disappointment after the very long wait.
But the unacceptable aspect remains the constantly annoyed and irritating attitude of the person in charge of our table, especially considering that we were not kids on leave but a large group of composed tourists over fifty, with very polite and limited children in tow.
Bad experience...
18/02/2024: Unfortunately, in recent times, they have started using very low quality ingredients for the pizzeria, which is truly a shame. I won't go back.
The one in the photo was supposed to be a pizza with mortadella, pistachio cream and buffalo mozzarella...none of that.

03/03/2024: Second time takeaway, second disappointment, arrived absolutely on booking time, waiting for beer service at the tables, pizzas evidently ready for a while, cold, I add a little pricey.
A little less coldness in the service would be appreciated, but there won't be a third.
29/01/2024: I have booked for 8.30pm.
The order was taken at 8.40pm.
The pizzas arrived at 10.15pm.
The pizza was good but not great based on the price.
The center of the pizza was just melted cheese.

La Torre Infame contains all this, together with the kindness of those who welcome you and guide you along a tasteful journey. Absolutely worth returning to savor everything that wasn't possible at once. Price quality more than honest.
