10/03/2024: We have just returned after spending a night in this farmhouse surrounded by nature: the tranquility and beauty of the landscape make it an enchanting place to say the least. The kindness and helpfulness of Matteo and his wonderful family remain the icing on the cake. Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back!

28/08/2023: Professionalism and courtesy of the managers. Minimal waiting times, exceptional views of the town of Papasidero and excellent food. Honest prices. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

29/03/2024: Cave closed and not open to visitors
27/02/2024: We tried calling several times, no answer. We consulted the website and it was open. We then ventured from the motorway junction to the cave, with quite a few difficulties, especially the last 6 km with the camper! Narrow road and very steep in some places. But the desire to discover this place pushed us to move forward. Once we got there we found it closed, with a tag attached to the gate indicating that they had been closed since November 23rd! Damn, couldn't you have updated the website and added an answering machine in 3 months? It's a shame because Calabria is a beautiful region, both from a naturalistic and historical point of view. One star because you can't do less! Think 360 degrees, not to collect only during periods of great influx!

Lido Lao Gold River

20/08/2023: Alla ricerca di posti nella riserva del Pollino abbiamo scelto di provare la Gold River.
Si è rivelata un’oasi naturale magnifica!
È tutto ben organizzato, la titolare ed il figlio sono di una gentilezza unica, pronti a far sentire a casa qualunque ospite. Chiaramente ci dev’essere uno spirito di adattamento, basti pensare che per l’appunto si ha la possibilità di sedersi ad un tavolo, mangiare degli ottimi panini, rilassarsi su delle sdraio e farsi una doccia in uno spazio mantenuto più naturale possibile.
Insomma, nulla a che vedere con gli affollamenti dei lidi che hanno distrutto il paesaggio naturale della costa.
Ci torneremo sicuramente a settembre.
25/07/2023: Un coin de Paradis à découvrir impérativement pour qui se trouve dans les parages . Situé dans le village de PAPASIDERO ce lieu bien au frais a l’ombre des végétations propose un bains frais dans le fleuve LAO . Un petit service de restauration permet de se restaurer . Dès transat peuvent être loués . Le site propose également de louer des barbecues ..
Le tout dans un havre de paix et une paysage exceptionnel .
