27/03/2024: Sunday lunch, very high expectations that I don't feel I can confirm. I expected more from tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, decent meat, very good sheep's roasts. The appetizer was rich and tasty. Good but not excellent value for money.
21/03/2024: Do you want to have lunch as if you were at home and your mother cooks the best things for you? , this is how we felt in this wonderful tavern, we are a family of 2 adults, a girl, and 2 children, as well as immediately making us happy with the children because we know they don't eat everything, for us instead a proposal of wonderful dishes from tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, rabbit with excellent potatoes produced by the innkeeper, the wine is also good, in short if you are in this area you should try it, booking is recommended as it is always full.

30/01/2024: We had read some good reviews, not realizing that they were from a few years ago. Maybe they will have changed chef but saving the affections the rest not to be commented on. The service was good, the place is very nice. Too bad about the food.

Antipasto ricchissimo di molte pietanze, buoni gli affettati ed i formaggi, vari contorni gustosi .Abbiamo mangiato anche i ravioli con porcini e tartufo che erano da urlo ,ottime le portate di carne e i dolci fatti in casa erano il top .G.razie per l'ottima giornata passata in spensieratezza.

Granted as a fiefdom to the Sanframondo family, who held it until the mid-1400s, Cusano subsequently passed through the hands of multiple feudal families: de Vera (1467), Gaetani (1480), Carafa, Del Tufo, Origlia, Monsorio, Barrionovo. Shortly before the subversion of feudalism the local population burned the castle (1780).
The local economy was based above all on sheep farming and the wool industry: Cusanesi woolen cloths, called "pannitti", were cheaper and less valuable than those produced in nearby Cerreto Sannita. The decline began in the second half of the eighteenth century when, among other things, the privatization of the Foggia customs put the system of transhumance in crisis.
Cusano was part of the Terra di Lavoro and, after the Unification of Italy, entered the province of Benevento within the Cerreto Sannita district.

26/02/2024: Buonasera,sono stato lì con la mia famiglia e i miei amici…veramente uno schifo! Ma ragazzi schifo è già un bellissimo termine…Antipasti miseri e pochi,stuzzchierie centrali contate..si è no per tutti..primi accettabile..il secondo non parliamo proprio la carne puzzava,non so esprimere di cosa..ho anche delle foto degli antipasti,perché vedendo determinate cose sono rimasto sconvolto..ma per correttezza non le metto!
Non so queste recensioni come escono!!!!
La signora Margherita sempre più arrogante,il suo staff solo una ragazza,Beh la poverina non sapeva dove sbattere testa essendo da sola…e anche tempo molto lunghi!!!!

01/02/2024: Sembra di essere ospiti a casa di Lina che è un’ottima cuoca e padrona di casa. Prodotti di prima qualità di cui molti a Km . Lina cucina divinamente e ci mette tutto l’amore necessario per far si che un piattio sia perfetto.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

02/02/2024: Trovato per caso. Cucina ottima e genuina. Molti prodotti a Km 0. La Signora Carmela è molto brava e gentilissima. È tutto fresco e fatto al momento ( pasta, verdure grigliate, crocchè, polenta). Tutti molto cordiali. Torneremo sicuramente.
