03/01/2024: The yummiest food in Scala! Our taxi driver recommended this place, so we took the chance & walked there - the service was excellent, very convenient that they are open until 10:30 to serve food. The waitress who looked after us was so hospitable and friendly. Plus, the food is amazing!! You must try their pizze menu, it’s so thick and well cooked. They even accommodated us to eat outside and put together a little, cozy table for us.
Grazie!!

I think it’s a family owned restaurant and everybody was extremely friendly and nice. We had very nice pasta, pizza, and steaks.
The Lemmon sauce pasta is the killer!
The owner (i think) totally made our day. He recommended a few local wines which are very tasty. Also, he has lots of wine collections and I had my best BDM in Italy!
If you ever come to Scala, this is the place you gotta visit. It is not only about food, but also the true southern Italian hospitality.
We will come back for sure.

13/11/2023: Restaurant with such an amazing view and backdrop. How this little gem operates in the tiny little village up high in the cliff is amazing. It's worth a visit.
27/10/2023: Spectacular service, Gasper the waiter was super friendly, told us what we could do on the Amalfi coast and explained the dishes to us very well with great patience. The food was exceptional, one of the best I have ever eaten in my life, beautiful dishes and the wine recommendation from the owner was more than accurate.

15/10/2023: Se non avete la possibilità di essere cortesi con l'autista e di offrire il pranzo all'autista non fate i bellissimi con il gruppo , dicendo loro che l'autista è vostro ospite. Ho avuto il dispiacere di essere oggi a pranzo da voi con un gruppo, che doveva garantirmi il vitto come da accordo preso, avete fatto i bellissimi dicendo al gruppo che sarei stato vostro ospite e poi mi avete fatto mangiare il primo piatto quando vi siete ricordati che in quella sala c'ero anche io e dopo altrettanto tempo siete venuti a chiedermi" ma lei vuole anche il secondo " , certo che volevo anche il secondo, gli autisti mangiano anche il secondo. 25/10/2023: Tourists, flee! Too bad we hadn't seen the previous comments, we wanted to have a drink, but we didn't expect to pay 20€ for 2 Spritz! In a small lost village with a glass not even filled. I doubt locals would pay that price and get the same freezing service. We sense the disdain for tourists. Too bad, we could have come back but we prefer places where we are respected 🙃

23/10/2023: We stumbled upon this place when the Michelin star restaurant up the street told us they only had fish on the menu… and we were so glad we did. It’s a small no frills place but we walked in to a lot of Italians speaking and we knew we were in the right place. There were a few locals playing cards and watching some sort of car race on tv and it felt like home. The pizza was amazing, the wine was great and just an overall awesome experience. Eat here! You won’t regret it.
