26/02/2024: Sasso is one of my fixed destinations, a wonderful place. Just as a fixed point is to eat here when I stay in these beloved places. This place embodies good cuisine, the frank and sincere heart of Lucania. The products are excellent, all of them, from pasta to meat to pizza... I've tried them all and without going into too much detail I'll summarize: if you're in Sasso, eat here at least one evening, do it for yourself. This time we went for first courses (2 each) and tagliatana of meat for the second course, with potatoes..beer, water and wine.. And then Antonio (owner) shows up with a barricade, three glasses and a chat and you understand that there is both love but also a lot of professionalism behind it... and the result shows.. Sublime final note: the bill that doesn't add up to what you ate, on the contrary, costs you an "if I knew I also took..." After a day of hiking you get hungry, very hungry. There's no point in writing, I'll be back. I do it every time. Maybe I'll write soon. 100% recommended

04/01/2024: Excellent cuisine to say the least. A journey into traditional Lucanian cuisine, something unique that I recommend to everyone. Authentic and very intense flavors. I asked for a house starter (which I recommend to everyone), the quantity was plentiful and of excellent quality. Super welcoming and friendly staff

02/04/2024: The village of Castelmezzano looks like a living nativity scene, with breathtaking views and roads that all motorcyclists love to travel along. To cheer up our visit, lunch at Vecchio Scarpone with delicious and abundant appetizers of local products, a tasty first course and roast meat with a unique flavor, accompanied by a delicious pastiera, bitters and coffee. Thank you for finding us accommodation on Easter Sunday which did not disappoint us.

04/04/2024: Fantastic experience, in the center of Lavello. Forentum is not a place to eat or sleep, or rather, it is not the classic place you go to because you don't know where to go. It is a place of aggregation, of profound tradition and true innovation managed by Savino in an incredible way. The restaurant offers the opportunity to try traditional recipes from Basilicata in the ancient way with a unique respect for the ingredients, all local, and with a workmanlike execution. An absolute must-try is the ravioli filled with sweet ricotta and topped with sauce, a work of art that excites every single taste bud like no other before. Also in the restaurant it is possible to try the pizzas, burgers or sushi, expertly made as only a true enthusiast can do. And Savino is a huge enthusiast, able to bring together tradition and innovation in a simple way, without forcing, which simply makes you happy. The suite rooms also enjoy modern but not tacky furnishings, with all comforts. Comfortable mattress, bathroom, shower, sink, walk-in closet and desk, plus a small refrigerator. In short, a place that has become, what seems like a shadow of a doubt, a reference, and to which I will return to discover this wonderful land that is Basilicata. I once again congratulate the creator of all this, the creator of a work that is more unique than rare in all of Italy.

24/03/2024: Unforgettable experience thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the owners of this place... the place is welcoming and I can't wait to return. But what made the evening perfect was the high quality of the dishes, refined and genuine. From gnocchi to vegetables, from aubergine parmigiana to artichoke and chickpea creams... All the dishes are a riot of taste and class, and you can perceive all the study and passion behind them. Highly recommended the Green Lantern.

18/02/2024: Warmly welcomed in this beautiful place with sweet music in the background. We were able to enjoy 2 appetizers and two truly delicious first courses (the only negative point that I underline, on the menu it stated that the appetizer was for two people but upon arrival there were single products). Innovation and tradition contained in every single course. I highly recommend it

02/04/2024: I went to eat yesterday with my family. The amount of people was huge, at least we were 170 people. The waiters were attentive to what human strength can do in situations like this. We waited a bit but if we're in a hurry even on Easter Monday. High quality as always, and a refined and elegant environment.

02/04/2024: local so-so poor starters you can't order a starter €15.00 a slice of raw meat a slice of capocollo a spoonful of ricotta and a piece of sausage. excellent first course. second course mixed grill and a piece of sausage and a slice of meat arrives on the table pork €12.00 with a side dish of potatoes, of which with a hair on the plate, without replacement of the dish. Waiters take a refresher course in the sector.

01/04/2024: Friendly and extroverted owner, however friendliness in a restaurant is not everything... The dishes were sticky and not washed well, the staff was poorly qualified and the number was inadequate for the number of places to be served, thus creating long waits between one course and another. Among the various courses, some could be eaten and others not even tasted... in the end the owner, at the time of the bill, between one joke and another presented us with a very high bill considering that we were 4 adults and 4 children of which the children just tasted the first because of a simple requested dish of penne with simple sauce they brought rigatoni with meat which obviously between one waste and another they didn't eat much. Inadequate value for money.

15/11/2023: Bellissimo posto in cui mangiare un'ottima pizza. Consigliata quella con patate paesane. Ottime anche le patate fritte, perfette nell'attesa della pizza. Buonissimi anche i ravioli ripieni di ricotta e conditi con pomodoro. Prezzi più che modici, personale gentilissimo. Molto bello mangiare all'esterno d'estate, in mezzo alla natura.

06/03/2024: La Taverna nota per la partecipazione alla trasmissione televisiva Quattro Ristoranti. Ambientazione di tipo familiare e tradizionale. primo piatto strascinati cacioricotta e peperoni cruschi, piatto tipico lucano che consiglio.

09/03/2024: Per lavoro sono stato ospite in questa tipica trattoria Potentina. Davvero una bella esperienza ed una gradita sorpresa. Peperoni cruschi deliziosi, polpette di melanzane dolci e buone. Piato davvero una vo gli strascinati fatti a mano con sugo di salsiccia. Davvero interessante il finocchio nella salsiccia. Da tornarci di sicuro.

28/02/2024: Buon ristorante, diciamo che è uno degli storici di Potenza. Ci mancavo da anni e devo dire che è migliorato anche nel corso del tempo! Proprietari e personale gentilissimo Consiglio le patatine fritte fatte in casa, semplicemente spettacolari!!!
