07/04/2024: You enter the restaurant and you really feel like you are in Sicily. Typical ceramics surround it. They mainly cook fish. Personally, I ordered caponata (mouth-watering), tonarelli, pachino grouper and provolone with nero d'Avola (which disappointed me a bit because they were not very tasty), stratospheric fried fish (served with very crunchy fried courgette fillets in batter) and dulcis at the bottom almond semifreddo. Professional waiters available and smiling. Clearly the quality of the products they offer corresponds to a fairly high cost.
30/03/2024: Very much a locals restaurant that seems to be a place for special occasions. So, as a tourist, it was nice to experience it and gain an authentic, non-touristy experience. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good and ingredients very fresh. Grazie!

01/04/2024: It's one of those places you go when you want to feel a bit at home (in Sicily); there isn't a dish that isn't good and if they are famous for fish, the meat dishes are equally exceptional. Stratospheric panelle, aubergine rolls or “moving” swordfish rolls, cannoli and super cassata. You should go with two bellies😂
Staff always nice and helpful.

The Roman classic pastas Cacio e pepe, Carbonara, and Amatriciana all made our eyes roll back in pleasure from the first bite to last.
02/04/2024: Under promise, over deliver. This is the recipe of this very nice Osteria. We did not read recommendations before entering, yet were amazingly and positively pleased on all fronts. Great food, wine list and service. We enjoyed it collectively so much that we returned 2 days later!

07/04/2024: We did not book, but luckily they found us a table. The restaurant was full of locals which was a great sign, although our translation of the menu was rubbish they really helped us out. all the food was great. The staff really made us feel welcome.

04/04/2024: We had a very frugal lunch snack. Great surprise like staying in Sicily, compliments paid directly to the chef, an exquisite and kind person like the staff 😉. It will be a fixed stop. 😉

The food is decent, both the desserts and the rustic ones, even if for my taste they are all too overloaded with ingredients (too much oil, too much ham, too sweet, too much everything) as if to underline that in Sicily people eat a lot (true, but not everything overcooked). The only BIG flaw is the service. The rustic counter is missing labels indicating the ingredients. YOU MUST PUT THE TAGS INDICATION OF WHAT'S INSIDE and YOU MUST ALSO DISPLAY THE PRICES. If I don't know what's inside a rustic house, how do I choose it???. The guy at the counter even tells you...(In addition to creating kilometric queues) but he forgets to tell you half the ingredients and more than once I was forced to throw away what I had purchased because I couldn't eat it.
