04/04/2024: I've known the place for many years and always like to go when I'm in the area. I went to my family's Easter lunch, Simone is a good "host" who wisely chooses the authenticity of the product to offer, always cooked according to the canons of traditional Tuscan cuisine. The choice of wine is wide and of high quality, I will return soon, perhaps in the romantic outdoor courtyard.

04/04/2024: I have been frequenting this place for years now and they have never made a mistake, everything is always designed to make the customer find himself in a typically Tuscan environment with good food and great hospitality. I was there on Easter Monday with my family, and once again they confirmed our expectations. The Tuscan crostini and ricciarelli were simply amazing! Well done Paola e&. We will be back soon

02/04/2024: Restaurant with an outdoor terrace that has spectacular views. The food has a good quality and they have correct prices. The best were the ravioli with truffle, and the tiramisu which was incredible. The waiters could be kinder.

31/03/2024: I recommend this typical restaurant in Montalcino. Cozy atmosphere, there are not many places, it is advisable to book. Dishes prepared with excellent raw materials. Nice, attentive and kind service. Their menu with 3 courses and dessert included is interesting! We will be back!

The Barbischio tavern is certainly among the top 3 locations in Chianti for quality of cuisine and adequate prices, in addition to the fact that it is a very nice and intimate restaurant. Claudio has a disarming professionalism and love for what he does in the dining room. Everything at the top!

21/10/2023: Ancora una volta, in occasione della nostra partecipazione a L’Eroica di Gaiole, abbiamo voluto cenare in questa tradizionale osteria, memori delle ottime esperienze precedenti. Nonostante la serata fosse particolarmente impegnativa per il gran numero degli avventori, la qualità non è venuta meno, sia per quanto riguarda le pietanze che il servizio. Ottimi i primi (in particolare gli “ignudi”) così come i secondi (il “peposo” rimane il mio preferito). Anche la carta dei vini è di tutto rispetto. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

01/04/2024: Very pleasant dinner with friends. We were in the outdoor room, a covered outdoor area not as welcoming as the inside, but pleasant. Recommended among the starters are the flan and a delicious wild boar as the main course.

07/04/2024: All delicious 🤤 and absolutely worth trying if you come to Siena. Prices are not excessive despite being in the center of Siena. The food is of quality and is very typical of the area. You don't pay the cover charge. The highlight for us was the cold cuts platter and the pici with ragù

04/04/2024: A little overhyped. Food was good, but by far not the best. Not sure if worth the wait and sitting in the rain (which we did and they make minimal effort to cover our table). There are better food options on Siena I don’t really know why their rating is so high. Waiters not the most welcoming.

07/04/2024: In this place, the concept of slow food opened up for us 🤣 Serving and getting food to the table was really slow. When I ordered the sirloin steak, I wasn't asked the degree of doneness of the steak. When it was finally served to the table, it was well done, completely gray and dry. I was disappointed, but since it took 40 minutes to get the steak, I didn't have time to order another steak.

30/03/2024: Very nice and pleasant place! Helpful staff and I might seem weird, but I ate some sautéed spinach that amazed me! From simple things you understand the quality of the raw material and here it is all there! The only "unforgivable" flaw for me is the wine list. A place like this is right to have few references, but there could be a little more work which would certainly make much more!
