25/02/2024: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante per una veloce pausa pranzo, in quanto era da tanti anni che non ci andavamo e ricordavamo si mangiasse bene. Il ricordo era esatto! La proposta del menù molto interessante, cibo buono in particolare gli antipasti sono la parte che preferiamo sempre di più. Servizio veloce e personale piacevole. Ottimo!

25/03/2024: My favorite pizzeria. I have known and frequented this place for several years now. The atmosphere is friendly and informal but at the same time attentive and thoughtful as it is increasingly rare to encounter. The management is family-run with assigned and well-distributed roles. The cleanliness of the rooms and large toilets will give added value to your stay. As a final consideration I would like to focus on the real protagonists, the pizzas: the quality of the raw materials blend with the mastery and experience of Nino (undisputed master of the white art). Well done to the young brothers who lead the room like seasoned captains. More than fair prices and easy parking.

11/03/2024: There were 4 of us. We ate excellent cold and hot appetizers...grilled for 2 and a bottle of pignoletto...the only flaw in my opinion was perhaps the price was a little high but we ate well.

05/04/2024: Italian restaurant just outside the historic center of Persiceto, visited on several occasions. The place offers both a menu of purely traditional recipes and a series of proposals where you experiment a little more and/or use non-local ingredients. During my visits I have tried both things and always found it good, particularly with the first courses. Even the slightly more original dishes often had a truly interesting outcome! Often a small welcome snack is provided, at the table there is also a basket with various types of bread in small loaves. The environment is organized into 3/4 internal or external rooms, it is informal and without excess. The staff in general are ok, occasionally they can run into some little things but nothing that should preclude an absolutely positive experience. Fair price for what is offered. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a rotisserie side where you can buy ready-made take away food or even freshly cooked first courses to take away as soon as they come out of the pan. Recommended for everyone!

04/04/2024: Finally a cuisine without a "masterchef in the head": simple but well made, excellent, plentiful and also economical. Only the service was a little "rough"... but a bad day happens to everyone. Well done "Officina del gusto"

Anzi, anche bassi, visto le ciofeche (che neanche dovrebbero chiamarle pizze) che ti propinano in giro agli stessi prezzi! Un po’ di Napoli nel centro di San Giovanni. Consiglio a tutti/e di andarci.

31/03/2024: Excellent traditional cuisine, high quality raw materials. Second time I go, with increased prices after a year, on an already quite high basis. Certainly, boasting the large quantity of prizes and recognitions, they have been able to afford fine dining restaurant prices, thanks also to tourists who don't bat an eyelid when paying 30 euros for a plate of tortellini with cream on the surface. But in fact it is not a fine dining restaurant. The Bolognese cutlet in the photo, for two people, good (but not exceptional) costs 70 euros. I asked myself what a tavern should be, and I will continue to ask myself, but I don't think they are the answer, and I say this with the utmost respect. Good but not for me.

26/03/2024: It was a wonderful experience having lunch in this tavern. In a warm and welcoming environment we tasted delicious dishes, from tortellini with cream to the surface, meatballs and potatoes dipped in lard.

07/04/2024: Sorry to have to declare that I left half a "Neapolitan-sized" pizza on my plate, together with a friend who was with me. Pizza soggy, frayed, half raw, indigestible, with a rubbery edge, really unpleasant to the touch. I'm especially sorry that I didn't hear the question asked by the staff, like "did something go wrong"? So I took the initiative, politely complaining about it, only to be told that "the oven is new and is not yet set for maximum performance", or so. I believe that, in similar cases, it really isn't worth doing... setting experiments with the room half full! At least, the late "old Ciro", the one I personally knew years ago, would never have done it. The typically Emilian joke then comes spontaneously: "shall we have a round of limoncello, to settle down?" Finally, it is unfortunate that the staff turned a deaf ear to this request. As far as I'm concerned, my experience with "Ciro di Decima" ends here, without the possibility of appeal.

05/04/2024: Recently renovated place, Friendly and helpful staff... Good cuisine... But the icing on the cake is the pizza with Neapolitan dough... which as a Neapolitan I recommend
