29/10/2023: We had dinner with a truffle tasting menu and some typical dishes: a wonderful experience. Delicious food, wonderful staff. They let us bring our dog and brought her some water. Absolutely recommended to taste excellent typical cuisine (but with a few flashes of creativity) at reasonable prices!!!

28/02/2024: Eaten in the courtyard inside the castle walls, beautiful setting - Excellent dinner based on panigacci, a particular round bread cooked on "testi" and typical of the area; pleasant atmosphere, quick and friendly service. It is worth taking a walk in the accessible parts of the castle, especially the large terrace on the keep. Highly recommended

13/12/2023: pranzo in famiglia, ambiente caldo e amichevole, sala da pranzo con splendida vista sulla valle. Antipasto abbondante con gnocchi fritti, affettati, insalata russa, vino (ovviamente), tutto molto genuino. Per primo abbiamo preso delle crespelle molto buone, ma soprattutto un risotto al tartufo delizioso. Per secondo la carne, ma non sono un grande amante dei secondi, infine il dolce, un tiramisù buono, ma eravamo già strapieni da tempo per apprezzare. Siamo stati tutti contenti.

18/02/2024: We discovered Trattoria Solari by chance during a tourist day around the villages of the province of Parma a few months ago. It was a very pleasant surprise! Coincidentally we had dinner during the Scarecrow festival. Too strong, but above all a very important initiative to keep local traditions alive. During the year the owner Paola organizes many initiatives linked to the territory and traditions. Finally the food... Really delicious and extremely generous portions! Not far from Bardi and Compiano. A must for anyone in the area for a relaxing day. Highly recommended! P.S: for those who have complained... This place, and places of this type in general, must be accepted as they are. You are not in a starred restaurant. You are not in the city center but in an area away from major tourist flows, which perhaps struggle to carry on the traditions and culture of the place.

17/02/2024: Torno dopo mooolto tempo in questo locale con dei bellissimi ricordi. Devo dire che mi son rimasti "solo" dei bei ricordi. Attenzione, non dico che si mangia male, ma ero rimasto alle tagliatelle con sugo di cinghiale, alla polenta con cinghiale, agli eccezionali funghi e al buonissimo liquore verde, purtroppo son rimaste cose molto più semplici che di sicuro non mi faranno tornare apposta, se ci passo davanti ok, ma non ci verrò appositamente. Devo dire però con piacere che il personale è rimasto sempre gentile e disponibile, quello si. Buoni gli antipasti e abbondanti, per il resto...normale. Prezzo nel giusto.
