As a true ice cream lover, I have the pleasure of reviewing what has been my absolute favorite ice cream shop for a few years now, as well as the only one where I eat ice cream. Here you can taste real artisanal ice cream, made of fresh and genuine ingredients of the highest quality. Upon tasting you can perceive all the care and passion in the selection of raw materials and the art, which make each taste unique and unmistakable. The choice of flavors is careful, with timeless classics and surprising innovations that are renewed from time to time based on the available ingredients and fresh seasonal fruits. 25/03/2024: Ecstatic is the right word to express how I felt after dinner in this place. My sister and I are vegetarians (we don't disdain vegans either) and the owner - with extreme kindness - made himself available to us by advising us on the best for us. Colorful and tasty dishes with expertly calibrated ingredients and spices (not with the spices covering all the rest of the flavours!) fatty only where necessary, sweets that melt in your mouth. Very clean and for what we ate also convenient (just over 20 euros each including wine). Really good!!

05/04/2024: The sandwiches are excellent, top quality ingredients that fully satisfy both in size and goodness. Huge choice of beers, they don't have a list, but there is a blackboard where the beers they have on tap are written, of artisanal variety and from the area. Attentive service, and very competent staff both in service and in advising you what to drink. I would happily stay here again. A little expensive, but justified for what you eat and drink. (You pay for quality)

03/04/2024: Posto elegante, curato senza molti coperti che favorisce un ambiente tranquillo; alta professionalità, simpatia e disponibilità del personale. Menù curato con proposte innovative e ben fatte. Forse cantina da ampliare come proposta ma comunque soddisfacente. Da tornarci e da consigliare

03/04/2024: un locale largamente sopravvalutato. All'ingrasso forte odore di muffa, tavolo assegnato a ridosso dell'ingresso, menù stringatissimo. I piatti erano buoni ma lasciare la cotenna completamente sulla carne la rende indigesta e toglierla quando è già nel piatto riduce di molto la porzione.

28/03/2024: They were kind enough to squeeze us in without a reservation and it was quite simply the best fish meal we have ever eaten - it was delicious! The service was excellent too - knowledgeable and helpful. We would almost go back to Trieste just to eat there again 😊

04/04/2024: The place is absolutely lovely! A very cozy, warm and welcoming Balkan atmosphere in the city centre of Trieste, not far from Trieste central railway station. Had a wonderful dinner, very good food, lovely hosts awesome wine and Rakija liquor....a must try!

02/04/2024: Traveling to Trieste I looked for information on restaurants and was immediately attracted to Rustiko and fortunately we found room for two plus a dog. The environment is very refined, full of details just as I like it, in pure Balkan style. Very relaxing soft lights and nostalgic Serbian music in the background. The girls who looked after us were nice and very professional and we also met what we thought was the owner, very attentive to all the customers at the table and extremely jovial. Very tasty and well presented food, excellent beers, little game to pass the wait which was very short despite the place being quite full. Unfortunately we are very far away but, if we return to Trieste, we will certainly return to Rustiko. Thanks for everything and Roger also thanks for the welcome and cuddles.

04/04/2024: Top 3 of the best ice creams in Trieste. I tasted the pistachio flavor and it was close to perfection. I will come back to try other flavors to make sure the 5 stars are deserved, but I'm practically certain of it.

27/03/2024: Very good apple puff pastry, coffee and milk also of a good standard. Prices above average. The choice to serve both drinks and desserts in disposable glasses and trays inside the venue should be reviewed.

14/02/2024: I stayed at the Hotel Valeria and had a great time: a welcoming and clean environment with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has ample private parking, which is very important considering that it is only 10 minutes from the center of Trieste. I will definitely go back.
