07/04/2024: Best restaurant of our trip to Sicily! Very authentic, friendly, inexpensive and, above all, super tasty. If it's not on the menu, be sure to ask for pasta. We got a pasta with asparagus, tomatoes and ricotta, which was delicious.

You won't regret it....a very small place, with the dish of the day (we had fresh pasta with ricotta and broad beans - a delight -) and some salads, sandwiches and platters. Excellent products, the owner transmits his passion for cooking to you. Definitely a place with a soul!

Spectacular venue, fantastic dinner, Andrea and Francesco in the room, very kind, and the Chef very present! 10 out of 10, for my taste, for the risotto and the dessert, which I'll put in the photo!

25/01/2024: Nice place, with a breathtaking view: Her Majesty Etna in plain sight, almost as if you could hug her... The food was good, excellent use of local products: I sipped a glass of delicious red wine from Randazzo, not to mention the PDO pistachio from Bronte! Applause for the dessert! A warm pistachio cake, with pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce... delicious! The service completed the picture... The girl who welcomed us, but above all who served us, kind, sweet and competent. Both very young, something that pleased me, even more so because when you see a young person you think of incompetence, which doesn't exist here... We will certainly return and I recommend it to anyone, in all seasons, even more so in summer to enjoy the very large and relaxing outdoor location a stone's throw from our volcano 🌋

23/03/2024: The two nights me and my mother were in Catania we had dinner here and it was a great choice! We tried pizza, salad, focaccia and desserts and liked everything. Personally, I like the idea with the chopping boards a lot, with a small pizza, cheese, olives and fries or different meats. The chef was especially friendly and welcoming. The "cherry on top" were the really affordable prices. If we ever come back to Catania we will come back here, too. Thank you to the P&W team for the good experience :)

06/04/2024: Place located next to Villa Bellini in Catania, the room inside looks good visually but unfortunately if you look at the details you can see some flaws such as the tables which appear to be a little bare, dirty and with paper napkins, midges that buzzed around the room, the soap dispenser that hung in the bathroom (unacceptable given the cover prices), the menu offers quite varied meat and fish options as well as the wine list which appears to be well stocked. As soon as we were seated they brought us some very soft warm bread, I had lunch taking a starter from the chef which includes both cold and hot dishes, a generous portion and very good raw dishes especially the tuna which melted in the mouth, as a first course tagliolini with lobster (pasta portion a little poor), the pasta was cooked well but unfortunately it was very oily, almost watered down in the oil, on a positive note, the lobster which was abundant (half to be precise even if frozen in my opinion), as a second sfincione of fish sword, the swordfish was a little dry, a seasoning which in my opinion did not give flavor but made it a mush, all accompanied by a glass of white wine which was quite good and delicate. Everything could be there but at the right level and unfortunately everything didn't have the right price, 86.50 euros with 1.50 discount for a total of 85, too high a price for the quality of the food and the service in general, unacceptable to pay so much for having dirty tablecloths, disposable paper napkins, a knife with a bent tip (which was changed once I asked the waitress), unfortunately I wouldn't go back at this price, paying something less and increasing the quality of the products it would be competitive. Rejected.

05/04/2024: I was there with the guys from Swim Revolution before crossing the Strait. I had a very good time! Delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. The always courteous staff and the welcoming atmosphere make it a great choice!

17/03/2024: Infinite choice of wines, renowned labels and you can find everything and the quality is excellent. Platters of cured meats and various delicious local delicacies accompany the wine in an impeccable way. Very nice owner. Honest prices.

03/04/2024: We had lunch here with our two children aged 8 and 11. Every morsel of food brought out was delicious. My eldest tried many new flavours whilst our youngest perhaps got more than his fair share of salami! The waiters were charming and discrete. We really had a wonderful meal here and would highly recommend this place if you want to try local food cooked to perfection.

01/04/2024: Small place, but quality homemade food, found by chance while we were in Randazzo. If it happens again it will be a real pleasure to return

17/03/2024: Non scrivo mai recensioni ottime perché essendo intollerante non trovo mai varietà o pecca qualcosa, invece belli i giardini fuori, maestoso il locale dentro, cibo che si fa mangiare con gli occhi e poi con la bocca resti estasiata, gusti DOP materie prime il top, dal salato al dolce che dire, perfino la musica era giusta, lo consiglio a tutti un esperienza che sicuramente vi soddisfa e poi lo chef che con grande umiltà viene a parlare in sala coi commensali a me mi ha conquistata.👌🔝
