12/03/2024: Farmhouse where you eat like at home, lots and lots of it!!

11/03/2024: I discovered this place at the suggestion of some friends and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. At a fixed price (€28) this very rustic location surrounded by greenery offers a complete menu, from starters to dessert, entirely made up of local and genuine products. The courses are fixed but varied: starting from the appetizer I was able to taste a selection of cured meats and cheeses, battered and grilled vegetables, bruschetta, plated pizza, beans. The first, however, is the main reason why this place deserves the best when it comes to food: I enjoyed some of the best gricie of my life. As if that wasn't enough, for the second course they served me a hearty mixed grill with a side of baked potatoes. To complete the lunch, wine, coffee, bitters and homemade dessert. The only flaw of this place is, perhaps, the total lack of signs that allow you to reach it if you don't have a navigator. They only accept reservations but if you are not aware of the fixed menu formula you may be a little confused because no waiter will inform you of how it works upon your arrival and will start serving the appetizers.

05/02/2024: I return to this place on a regular basis 2 or 3 times a year. Real farmhouse and not a disguised restaurant like many others. Excellent location surrounded by the greenery of a valley, a bit of effort to find it but with the navigator you can do it if it's the first time. Like all real farmhouses, limited choice between 3 or 4 first courses and some small variations even for the little ones. Excellent appetizers and local cheeses. Same choice for the second courses generally based between piglet and home-bred chicken. Recommended vegetables and potatoes. Even desserts and creams prepared by themselves with a variety of choices. Price normal considering the à la carte menu. Reservations are highly recommended, given that the rooms cannot accommodate very many tables and people.
