18/12/2023: Una vera esperienza gastronomica. Una scelta accurata, ragionata e equilibrata su ogni ricetta e scelta di mise en place. C'é cultura da C'esco. Si nota sia nelle scelte estetiche minimali che soprattutto nel menù, rinnovato periodicamente, mai noioso e con la guida saggia di Francesco, patron, chef e anche Sommelier che sa consigliare e convincere con efficace educazione l'abbinamento sempre migliore tra tutte le tipologie di vini, con particolare predilezione per il Salento sua terra natia. Piatti al gusto deliziosi, creativi e coraggiosi, cotti sempre al punto giusto. Dai cappellacci al brasato, ai contorni e il dolce. Tutto fatto a mano, ingredienti freschi, cucina a vista - atto di grande coraggio - sempre pulita, come anche le superfici e soprattutto i bagni. Servizio estremamente discreto e ma pronto ad ogni esigenza. Sembra un orologio svizzero, ma con un cuore e un'anima gentile tipicamente italiana. Il conto è onesto e si ha la sensazione di aver pagato il giusto a fine pasto. Il locale non è grande, offre una certa intimità, seppure una trentina di coperti li riesce a accogliere. La tipologia di clientela conferma quanto scritto e premia la bravura di tutto il team di C'esco. Da tornare per ogni occasione.

It is noticeable both in the minimal aesthetic choices and above all in the menu, renewed periodically, never boring and with the wise guidance of Francesco, owner, chef and also Sommelier who knows how to advise and convince with effective education the increasingly better pairing between all types of wines , with a particular predilection for his native Salento. Delicious, creative and courageous tasting dishes, always cooked to perfection. From cappellacci to braised meat, to side dishes and dessert. Everything handmade, fresh ingredients, open kitchen - an act of great courage - always clean, as are the surfaces and especially the bathrooms. Extremely discreet service and ready for every need. It looks like a Swiss watch, but with a typically Italian kind heart and soul. The bill is honest and you have the feeling of having paid rightly at the end of the meal. The place is not large, it offers a certain intimacy, although it can accommodate about thirty seats. The type of customers confirms what has been written and rewards the skill of the entire C'esco team. To return for every occasion.

04/04/2024: Rating put by my Chinese wife, but considering that this is the quality of food from Rome and not from France. The prices are very reasonable, she highlights the quality of the Jiamo bread which is really top notch, very difficult to find like that elsewhere. The welcome is great! (Personally I didn't really like the Jiamo because it's very strong in star anise and I don't really like that, but the chicken noodles were very tasty.)

04/02/2024: Hidden gem, Im gutted as it seems it will be closed on our next visit but hope it will open in the future. On our last holiday weve visited twice which simply doesnt happen in Rome since theres so many high quality restaurants. Its so authentic, very rarely will you find a place that feels like youre allowed into somebodys home. Bravo

From the appetizers to the main courses, passing through the first courses, we found truly interesting dishes and a skilful use of top quality raw materials. Superlative raw, the cuttlefish stuffed with cod are also excellent! We will be back

02/04/2024: Fish dinner, with raw fish, starters, first courses and very good second courses. The quality of the fish was really high and I also really liked the combinations chosen. An excellent choice for eating good fish while being on the safe side. Absolutely reasonable price for the quality and quantity of the dishes tried. Absolutely recommendable.

From the welcoming and atmospheric setting to the exceptional quality of the food, every aspect of our dinner exceeded expectations. We started our meal with gnocchi mixed with porcini mushrooms, which were simply excellent. The soft texture of the dumplings paired with the rich, earthy flavor of the porcini mushrooms created an irresistible dish that reflected the chef's skill in combining simple ingredients to create complex flavors. Next, we sampled the mutton-filled bombettes, a dish that further demonstrated the culinary mastery of the restaurant. The mutton was tender and juicy, with a rich flavor that went perfectly with the aromatic spices and filling. Each bite was an explosion of flavor that left us wanting more. The desserts, then, were fantastic, ending the meal on a sweet and satisfying note. Not only was the food exceptional, but the atmosphere of Ristorante Origini added an extra level of pleasure to our experience. The setting was sublime, with an atmosphere that combined rustic elegance and intimacy, making it the ideal location for a romantic dinner or special celebration. In conclusion, the Origini Restaurant in Subiaco is a culinary gem offering a dining experience of very high level. 19/03/2024: Coming here was really exciting and do you know why? Because I have tasted some truly unique dishes and when I say so it is because the combinations are truly stunning, as is their presentation!!!! You can see that there is a lot of work behind it and it takes great skill to make them. The service is impeccable and the owner of the place is a truly professional person who knows how to satisfy the customer's requests, my husband and I had a great time with his advice. The restaurant is well looked after and very intimate and at lunch the view of the abbey fortress is priceless. Highly recommended!!!!

29/02/2024: One of the best vegan patisseries in Europe! Great choice, elaborate desserts, made with great passion, small but beautiful place, family atmosphere. The tiramisu is one of the best in Rome, confirmed even by non-vegan people. Highly recommended place for both vegans and omnivores.
