16/03/2024: Anni fa aveva chiuso i battenti un ristorante a Vado ed abbiamo patito. Ora ne è arrivato un altro. Non abbiamo recensito subito il locale; abbiamo atteso di tornare per avere conferme. Ora ne siamo certi. IO CIBO è il ristorante che mancava. Semplice, senza fronzoli, piccolo. In sala ti coccolano. Il cibo ricercati e mai banale. Ogni piatto è un'esperienza visiva e del gusto; occorre mangiare lentamente per cogliere ogni sapore. Comunque, tutto molto buono! Prezzo assolutamente adeguato alla qualità del cibo. Provatelo, ma lasciate libero un tavolo per due per quando veniamo al mare. Al cuoco ed a tutto il personale complimenti. Danilo e Daniela

28/03/2024: Chinese and Japanese restaurant overlooking the Tuesday Vado Ligure promenade. It's not an all you can eat place, so the quality of the food is very high. The place is not huge, so if you have a large group I recommend making a reservation. The menu is divided into Chinese and Japanese cuisine. In general it is frequented by all types of couples, groups of friends and families. The service is excellent, friendly and helpful staff who create a peaceful atmosphere.

Da consigliare anche i tagliolini con i funghi della zona, il ragu di coniglio, la carne alla brace (tomahawk succulento) e il coniglio. In stagione il dehor da un tocco piú romantico alla cena. Vini della zona a prezzi corretti

01/04/2024: Sono stata per due volte a pranzo. La prima ho mangiato solo la farinata che viene servita in molte varianti, devo dire ottima. Seconda visita il pranzo a Pasqua. 3 antipasti ottimi. 2primi buoni. 2 secondi buoni. Come dolce una pasta sfoglia ripiena di mela servita con salsa al sapore di colomba. I l tutto accompagnato da vino rossese. Il prezzo un pochino alto ma in queste occasioni Natale Pasqua ferragosto.... é così ovunque. Torneremo sicuramente.

29/03/2024: I am a Truck Driver and I had to take a break in Savona. I was looking forward to a really Italian pizza (the first one I've had in Italy) and it fulfilled my wish. I was the first customer that day, proof that it doesn't matter when you go, the food will be spectacular. I ordered Pizza from Prosciutto e Funghi because to get something bad out of it, I think the Funghi should be cooked a little longer in the oven, so that it comes out "dehydrated" Even so, the treatment was good, the older gentleman was attentive at all times and Vittorio the pizzaioli knows what he is doing at all times. I asked for a little basil on top and they complied at no cost (in other places in Europe they charge you an extra €2-3) The panacotta, which I presume is homemade, is also incredible. All with 1.5L water for €17, a very affordable price. I will recommend it to my colleagues in case they have to rest in Savona!

06/04/2024: I don't know, I expected more, I think the cuisine doesn't highlight the quality of the fresh product, I ate fish and the mixed starter was a disappointment (no flavour) but I really liked the mixed fried food. However, friendliness and friendliness wins. I'll try again.
