The fish appetizer and the peasant pike, in my opinion, reflect the essence of the restaurant and the lake. The dining room staff is courteous and prepares quick cuisine. Excellent value for money. Absolutely worth trying

07/11/2023: By far the best restaurant around Gardalake! The chef knows each little ingredient. Where it comes from (mostly local) and grows a lot of the vegetables and spices in his garden. He made our evening perfect and we will come back many many times! See you next year Chef!

12/01/2024: Aeolus is the best! We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here, it was 60 people and it was one of the best nights of our lives. The owners were so wonderful and helpful; we had months of planning calls and they were always available and know everything about the area. Our guests still talk about the incredible Moscow Mules and they made the best mojito I have ever had. We were in town for about a week and they welcomed our guests and left them with wonderful memories every day. Their bartenders and staff are so helpful, thoughtful, kind and generous - they made incredible impressions on all of us. The restaurant has a stunning wine cellar space with arched stone ceilings as well as a waterfront patio right in the heart of town. This is a must-visit, especially for late night outings in Gargnano, we can't wait to go back.

02/04/2024: Rating for the Restaurant. Beautiful garden directly on the lake with a view of snow-capped Monte Baldo. Excellent service, nice menu and really good dishes. Prices slightly above average, but are largely justified by quality and location

21/09/2023: The food was very good, the service was attentive and friendly and the view of Lake Garda is impressive. There was a small selection of vegetarian dishes. Our dog was also welcome there.

20/09/2023: Very, very nice atmosphere! It was really a wonderful evening! The waiters were all very attentive and nice. The food was also very tasty. The prices are somewhat in the higher segment. I can still recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing evening with a great view. I would find out about parking spaces in advance. They are in short supply in the small village (where you can still take a short walk).

27/03/2024: Dear all, I can only recommend this place! A true family atmosphere combined with an extraordinary dinner experience. The wine list is unprecedented and you can choose from 700 different wines. Francesco - the owner - showed us his amazing wine cellar and even picked us up and gave us a ride back home. We came here yesterday for the first time and immediately booked another table for tonight again. The view is spectacular and the service is truly outstanding. My husband and I agreed in a heartbeat to stop here whenever we come by in the future.

26/03/2024: I don't think I've ever felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. The tables are very close together in the winter garden. In the other guest room there are two wine refrigerators that hum very loudly. The lighting is uncomfortable and cold. We were the only guests. Three waiters tried to look after us, which we found to be rather intrusive. One cleared from the left, the other at the same time from the right, I felt harassed. One waiter positioned himself in the doorway like a guard with his arms crossed, the other fumbled around because he was of course bored. The other one wasn't always visible, which was a shame because he was obviously the most experienced and senior and could have at least ensured that the two chicks showed a little more style and discretion. The most unpleasant thing was the "minder" who, together with the humming and the terrible lighting, ruined the whole evening. The food was okay. The menu prices displayed on Google Maps are not current. The restaurant is called a gourmet restaurant, but the cooking is uninspired and boring. The greeting from the kitchen was simply stated without any further explanation. The insalata mista came with canned corn! That says a lot. In our opinion, the pricing was not justified. We cannot recommend the restaurant in the cool months and when expectations of the cuisine are high. It's definitely nice to sit outside. Addendum after the owner's piqued comment: if you don't take your guests seriously and can't take criticism, you shouldn't "announce" this publicly, which is what you do here with every unenthusiastic review. That alone is unsympathetic enough and lacks style. And another tip: a translation app is fallible 😉
