01/10/2023: Excellent pizza, with competent and professional staff. Delivery service on all the beaches of the coast of Abbadia Lariana, Mandello del Lario, free. The only place to offer such a service. I highly recommend!

Queuing to get a table, I see a couple of clever people walking past everyone, I kindly point it out to the waitress who rudely points me to the exit, accompanying the gesture of her arm with a whistle and shouting in front of all the guests: "if you okay that's how it is...”

20/03/2024: It was a Tuesday, Google reported that it was open, I tried to call but the number was unreachable. Since I was in the woods I blamed the line so after going to the waterfall I took the half hour walk to reach the restaurant which I found CLOSED.....but did it take that long to change the opening hours on Google??!!

20/10/2023: Sempre speciale. Abbiamo pranzato con tutta la famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Molto buoni i pizzoccheri, lo scrigno ma anche il coniglio e il cervo!

28/08/2023: Rifugio che ha posti interni ed esterni e si mangiano i tipici piatti di montagna, merita lo scrigno (pasta fatta in casa con crema di tartufo e bresaola), ma anche lo stinco, mentre sconsigliato da noi lo zigoiner; bastone caldo con pancetta e carne arrotolati), in quanto si fredda subito. 24/03/2024: Ottima location, ottimo servizio, mi sono sempre trovato bene e niente poi ordino una margherita e mi arriva (vedi foto) , zero mozzarella , poco cotta, se dobbiamo fare le cose tanto per farle tanto vale non metterla nel menu.

19/01/2024: Locale situato al secondo piano, accessibile con scale o ascensore. Locale abbastanza ampio, tavoli belli, ma secondo me, adatti piu' per ristorazione all'aperto. Tovagliette di carta, come i tovaglioli, per il costo delle portate mi sembra un risparmio da non fare. Pietanze buone, servizio celere, forse un po' piu' di preparazione dei camerieri sulle portate. Per 2 primi, 2 secondi , un dolce, due calici di vino ( non versato al tavolo) , 1 bottiglia di acqua , il tutto a € 98,00.

30/12/2023: Disaster! Poor food and professionalism! We arrived at 2pm and no one greeted us. After 10 minutes a gentleman arrived who made us sit down and made us wait at least another 20 minutes before ordering. When ordering, he told us that only risotto, lasagne and cheese polenta remained from the menu of the day (as in the photo). We therefore ordered and waited another 30 minutes (parking is paid) to be told that the lasagna was also finished. Therefore we left only the polenta in the order (served cold and with cheese rinds inside) and a mixed platter of bresaola and cheeses: the latter arrived after the polenta and the cheeses were not homemade and of high quality but were 6 pieces including two Swiss cheeses (never seen before on a cutting board). Basically 1.45 hours to eat a small plate of polenta. Not an unimportant detail: the place was freezing, there was no heating, we ate with our jackets on considering the external temperature was 3 degrees.

30/12/2023: We went for lunch, poor dishes, cold polenta with cheese, poor service, chipped plates and a cold environment (heaters off) prices inconsistent with the quantity of food offered.
