04/10/2023: We spent the night in the hotel while walking the Sentiero del Viandante. Excellent location directly on the lake with private beach and jacuzzi overlooking the lake and… sunset. Excellent breakfast, very varied and plentiful. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Rating 10. Too bad we only stayed for one night.

02/01/2024: I stayed one night at this property, alone and, I must say, I didn't find it bad at all. The structure itself is certainly dated, but I think it's more of a strength than a flaw. It makes it, in some ways, fascinating. It makes you smile that you enter from a newsstand, then there is the bar, then there is the restaurant and finally, access to the rooms. I took a single room with en-suite bathroom. Bright, fairly clean, also dated. Unfortunately the TV in the room did not work. I had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and found the pizza to be good. The breakfast, although not a buffet, included in the price of the night, included several elements, from croassants, to bread with cooked meat, a yoghurt and various single portions of jams, chocolate and a yoghurt, as well as a juice and coffee (in the my case). Surely the staff could be more empathetic and smiley, but overall helpful. I would definitely go back if I needed to. Advised!

20/02/2024: Very good and fancy food. The prices are high and there was no “allergies indicator” that you would expect in all restaurants. The atmosphere is an old elegant, I would suggest a renovation of the restaurant to keep that prices on the menu. I really appreciate the service and the pasta was very good with fresh ingredients but a very small portion.

21/11/2023: Trattoria simpatica e senza pretese. Si mangia bene, serviti da un personale gentile e cordiale. Ottimi piatti di pesce di lago. Prezzi equilibrati. Sicuramente consigliabile.

07/04/2024: We went for a walk taking advantage of the beautiful sunny spring day. We stopped to have an ice cream, very good and creamy, and a coffee at the counter. The price of the coffee was a bit salty: €1.80 I repeat at the counter... when we pointed this out they didn't even respond and the lady sat there reading on her cell phone without looking us in the face. It's a shame because I read some reviews that aren't great and instead the place deserves a different approach to make people want to come back, which certainly won't happen on our part.

03/04/2024: For a pleasant bar with nice service, lounge music and the best view, it ticks all the boxes. Snacks and drinks are good.

28/03/2024: Everything was very good, the treatment was better, and as a gift I gave you some lemonade shots. The pizzas are very well priced!!

14/02/2024: Staff are very nice. We had Pizza, pasta and fish dishes which were ok. Nice wood fire pizza oven . Nice white decor .

02/11/2023: Abbiamo ordinato un menù della montagna, proposto in ottobre. Sciatt, taroz, e bresaola, pizzoccheri, assaggio di formaggi e dolce. Tutto buono, soprattutto i pizzoccheri, gli sciatt e i formaggi. Porzioni abbondante e prezzo contenuto.

27/09/2023: In the 15 minutes we were there 4 tables all got up and left. … 2 without even ordering food and 2 with half eaten meals (which I assume were bad) The waitress was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and abrupt. We eventually managed to order a carafe of wine. When it arrived and we tried to understand the menu she was so rude and arrogant we eventually got up and left. I have no intention spending my hard earned money with some entitled waitress who had no idea of customer service … The only silver lining for this establishment is that they have probably never heard of trip advisor .. I felt really bad for the the young man clearing tables and trying to assist, but the only waitress working was so rude and kept shouting at him. When we left and tried to pay for the few sips of wine we had, the owner felt so bad she told us not to worry.
