02/04/2024: my friend and i had a really great experience at this restaurant! the owner Mauro and the staff were really friendly and attentive and went great lengths to communicate with us despite the language barrier and provided us with amazing service! the food was great and the vibes were homey—we really enjoyed the pecorano appetizer, the carbonara, and the cacio e pepe tartufato. if you’re ever in the Trastevere area, i’d really recommend visiting—it’s a hidden gem 🩷
29/03/2024: Happened by chance because it was out of the way from my neighborhood (Eur). Nice atmosphere, generous and well-cooked dishes with appreciable excursions into Egyptian cuisine, very reasonable prices. If I return to Monteverde I will stay here again.

The Top is the stew to accompany with couscous and spicy potatoes but EVERYTHING is stratospheric.
Very honest prices.

06/04/2024: We ordered three dishes (Fesenjan, Sultani kebab, and ghorme sabzi), along with one appetizer (koufteh) served with Zeytoon parvardeh. All were delicious with amazing taste & flavors. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent.

29/01/2024: the smallest Daruma in Rome, perhaps smallest in Italy! Despite this, the management is excellent, the attention to the customer is maximum and the lady who welcomed us is very helpful. In particular, I was looking for Joy's vegan menu, which however is not available because it lacks Kosher certifications, but I was still served properly and satisfied.

17/02/2024: Localino sulla strada pedonale, tipico forno da generazioni. Senza fronzoli con pochi prodotti esposti. Hanno una torta con ricotta e visciole da urlo, buonissima
16/02/2024: Hanno solo il nome, si sono fatti i soldi vendendo pezzo di torta a prezzi esagerati su una torta di pochi euro guadagnano centinaia di euro, una fetta piccola a peso 6 euro , biscotti fatti con la rimanenza !! Un posto per turisti, li freghi tanto chi li vede più!!!!!
