17/02/2024: Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di prenotare il menù d’asporto pubblicizzato sui social da questo ristorante e devo dire che è stata un’ottima scelta: antipasto vario e abbondante, lasagnette di pesce gustose, secondo di pesce in crosta di melanzane con contorno di verdure e patate, panna cotta ai frutti rossi delicata e veramente buona, bollicine in omaggio e un prezzo assolutamente ottimo. Vivamente consigliato

23/12/2023: Locale intimo e accogliente. Per quanto riguarda la scelta dei piatti il proprietario è stato gentilissimo nel consigliare e presentare le portate, tutto buono e pesce di qualità. Non vedo l'ora di tornare per assaggiare tutti i piatti.

24/10/2023: Mangiare a Villa Garden vuol dire intraprendere un percorso esperienziale diretto a stimolare le papille gustative. Lo Chef ha saputo esaltare la materia prima, di ottima qualità, e sapientemente presentata. Che sia carne o pesce il risultato è sempre sorprendente: dalla pasta con la nduja e ricotta affumicata, alla spigola con colata di pecorino. 5 stelle e lode!

24/10/2023: One of our stops during a tour of Italy was the "Villa GardenTropea" in Gasponi. The individual, well-equipped and very clean holiday homes are located in a very beautiful and well-kept garden with palm, khaki and lemon trees. A pool is also available. If you prefer the sea, you can reach the beach of Tropea in just a few minutes by car. Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed and served our dinner, which left nothing to be desired. The breakfast is very good and can be selected from bed using a tablet or mobile phone according to your wishes and appetite. There is also an easy-to-use app. The choice of ingredients is unlimited, but they should also be eaten. Additional requests are also possible and can be ordered for a few euros. The very friendly staff, who were always in the mood for fun, made our stay a very pleasant one. The “Villa Garden Tropea” is a clear travel recommendation

26/03/2024: A very pleasant surprise. We found it by chance together with my wife. A place abroad that is far from welcoming, but very often it is the first step towards eating and feeling great. The guys in the room are kind young people and you can see from 1000 km how they care about everything working well. The food is really of excellent quality (I ate a fantastic podolica tart), mushroom pasta with a truly remarkable aroma and flavour. Potatoes, sausage, Caciocavallo, top... in short, we are still 2 steps away from Sila and these dishes are a must here. Black pig with pistachio to eat and eat and eat again! 😁 Super highly recommended

23/03/2024: The Calabrian cuisine that everyone likes Welcoming environment and typical cuisine that makes you feel at home. Selected local raw materials, such as black pig cured meats and Silani cheeses. The chef's rigatoni with sausage, mushrooms and Nduja are superlative, as is the Mpacchiuse potato pie, sausage and caciocavallo Silano DOP. The pizza is very good, simple without creating pizzas with three thousand ingredients on it.

02/04/2024: È sempre un esperienza unica. Vado abbastanza spesso al Riva e spero sempre di trovare qualcosa che non va ma trovo invece una macchina perfetta. Sorrisi, simpatia, cordialità, professionalità, Un menù di pesce che lascia l'imbarazzo della scelta, una carta dei vini che accontenta tutti i gusti. Materia prima di ottima qualità, il tutto cucinato a regola d'arte. I camerieri sono cordiali e pongono attenzione al tavolo senza essere invadenti. Musica da piano bar bellissima e al giusto volume che non copre la conversione al tavolo. Il locale è pulito. Questa orchestra è diretta dal sig. Gallo, persona simpaticissima, che vigila su tutto e superbo padrone di casa. . Finiti con il caffè, non finisce l’offerta del Riva. Sulla spiaggia di fronte al mare, inizia la musica per ballare, sedersi sulle poltrone e conversare amabilmente guardando il tramonto. In conclusione si trascorre un intera giornata coccolati.

17/03/2024: Extremely attentive, friendly and discreet staff, for this I congratulate the management of the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the staff didn't even mention lowering their masks even though we were outdoors. Quality food and generous portions with honest prices... you absolutely must try the liquorice bitters made by the restaurant.

04/04/2024: Tonight I was a guest of this La Capanna restaurant with my friend Filippo. Four friends...we appreciated the table service, attentive Domenico. The food we tasted was of great quality, the chef's cooked seafood appetizers were interesting, but the raw ones... "true poetry". The Venere rice we tasted was fragrant, rich in shellfish and balanced in flavor, beautiful to look at...spectacular! Many thanks to Eugenio, the owner, who presented his dishes with professional skill... everything was excellent, the octopus with vegetables and tomatoes, a UNESCO goodness. The wine and bubbles list is accurate.. it was a lovely evening. Thanks a lot. Being a guest I didn't understand the final bill... congratulations!
