12/03/2024: Fantastic restaurant for those who love true Piedmontese cuisine and culture, simple and with a family atmosphere. I had dinner with agnolotti with brown bottom. Spectacular! Veal cheek with polenta cooked at low temperature. To fly away! The ladies who serve are very kind, authentic Piedmontese, they contribute to creating an authentic Savoy atmosphere. Try it!

12/09/2023: In our opinion, one of the most noteworthy restaurants in the Monferrato Casalese (and beyond): managed by a husband and wife with extensive experience in running a historic restaurant in the area. Now, within the structure that includes their home, they have created a welcoming environment with only three large round tables (in addition to a small veranda outside, which we didn't see in use). Meals are prepared in a professionally equipped kitchen where he is the sole protagonist, while she serves the customers in the dining room. The establishment can accommodate only a few diners and is open from Thursday to Saturday evenings, as well as for Sunday lunch. The cuisine served here is of a high standard and reflects extraordinary passion. The dishes are prepared on the spot using excellent raw materials, with choices tied to the local area but executed with creativity and reinterpretation, albeit not in a sophisticated manner. Outstanding items on the menu include the rabbit tuna, Fassona beef tartare, pork "tonnato" (in place of veal), vegan "agnolotti del plin," tagliolini with ragù, duck leg, and guinea fowl. All the desserts we tried were excellent, including the ice creams. The amuse-bouche and pre-dessert were delightful. The wine list is extensive, which is surprising for such a small establishment. You'll need to search for Casa Anna, as it's located on a secondary road, but it's a visit you won't forget. Prices are commensurate with what is offered, so they are higher than the local average but well-deserved.

11/03/2024: I hadn't been back to this farmhouse for several years. I remembered it as a pleasant corner of peace and so, seeing the wild boar menu proposal, I wanted to book to go back but the evening was not as pleasant as I imagined. Starting from the location which was in the tensile structure at the back of the farmhouse where we ate once but then the poster said "music" and everything I expected from this "quiet" place except a karaoke evening which, if I had known that, I would never have booked. It would have to be specified. Then I would have understood it at the end of dinner but letting people sing and scream while you're still having dinner I find it really annoying, especially with the volume at too high a level that you can't even talk at the table. The menu and dishes are also of the right value for money but certainly not enjoyed due to the evening being not very pleasant for us. I appreciate dinners with background music but certainly not something so exaggerated. I don't know if I will return, maybe once without theme nights. Too bad I could have kept the beautiful memories of the past.
