05/12/2023: dieses lokal ist eigentlich ein muss für jeden gourmet. manuel kocht auf höchsten niveau erlesene speisen. die regionalen weine lassen keine wünsche offen. das „antine“ ist für uns ein muss, wenn wir in piemonte sind.

10/11/2023: Vor kurzem haben wir Ristorante Antine in Barbaresco besucht.Leider hat uns Antine sehr enttäuscht.Essen war durschnittlich.Die Preise für das Essen waren zu verkraften,nur die Preise für Getränke haben uns etwas schockiert.Glass Prosecco,12 Euro,Glass Barbaresco,eher durchsnittlich,15 Euro.Warum es so war,können wir uns nicht erklären.Johann

31/03/2024: ABSOLUTELY NOT. You go in for a coffee which, according to the sign, costs 1.30, you sit at the table to drink it because you have no other options considering the size of the bar, and you go out paying 3.10 euros for 2 coffees. The owner's justification is that the additional cost is for the service. And I ask myself: what service? I went to order the coffee, I know or went to pay for it, and I simply drank the coffee 50 cm away from the counter without receiving even a drop of water and also a terrible coffee. If you want to be transparent by writing the prices at the counter, then do it to the end by warning customers of the additional cost for table service which for a coffee I find more than ridiculous.

25/10/2023: Located in a wonderful old cellar ,this is a fantastic place to taste the wines of the region. Not just the famous grape varieties but things we had never heard of . The young man serving us was excellent, a trained sommelier, he was so knowledgeable not just about the wines but about the history of the grape varieties and the different regions. He spoke very good english , listened to what we were looking for and our price range and advised accordingly. Just a pity there are not more places like this in Piedmont. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. We hope to return.

27/11/2023: Ristorante elegante e preparato sui piatti tipici, nonché sul tartufo. Tutto buono, anche se l'uovo l'avrei gradito con un po' meno formaggio e con la carta dei vini molto ampia. I prezzi leggermente alti, ma per il tartufo, si paga!

24/11/2023: Metà novembre, coda di un autunno molto temperato, abbiamo trascorso un bel week end nelle langhe, in occasione della fiera mondiale del TARTUFO BIANCO di Alba (CN) durante il quale abbiamo soggiornato in questa bella struttura a 8-9 km da Alba, immersi nei meravigliosi e sterminati vigneti di Barbaresco. Il paesaggio è veramente stupendo e rilassante. La stanze anche se piccole, sono pulite. Il silenzio regna sovrano soprattutto di notte. L'unica nota stonata è stata la mancanza di acqua calda per la doccia. Ci è stato detto dal gestore, dopo esserci fatti una doccia molto fresca, che la caldaia si trovava lontano e che l'acqua calda ha serie difficoltà ad arrivare nelle stanze più lontane. La prossima volta cercheremo una stanza più vicina alla caldaia. La sala per la colazione è ampia con pareti a vetro sui bellissimi vigneti. La colazione è varia e sufficiente per iniziare bene la giornata. Abbiamo vissuto poco la struttura perché dalla mattina alla sera siamo stati alla fiera del Tartufo. Due note: 1) Il ristorante "VISIONE" che si trova all'interno della struttura, è appena stato concesso in gestione a terzi e lo segnalo anche a Trip Advisor in modo che si possa recensire anche quello separatamente rispetto a Casa Nicolini. 2) Per vedere bene la prima foto panoramica, cliccare su "1/2" in alto a destra della foto.
