21/03/2024: Already well known restaurant in the past located in the center of Domodossola for a few years. Family-run, it has been able to give the right touch to every detail. Clean, tidy, very beautiful environment with attention to detail. Even the eco-sustainable ones which is not for everyone. Delicious menu for combinations, flavors and textures, and constantly evolving seasonally. Accurate wine list. Beautiful finely furnished veranda. Friendly welcome. Competent and capable staff, both on duty and in the kitchen! Worthy of note is the choice of raw materials, skilfully composed in a workmanlike manner in the preparation and plating, starting from the choice of the shape, size and color of the dish, the dish is enhanced by the aromas and color contrasts decorated with fresh sauces, flowers edibles that make the dish a ceremony from the eyes to the palate. The details that make the difference. Excellent presentation from starters to strictly homemade desserts. Fast, attentive and coordinated service. Presentation of the wine, opening and very professional tasting service. Prices that match the performance. Tip more than deserved. It is possible to park for a fee in the square except on Saturdays at midday due to the presence of the market where the center remains closed to traffic until the afternoon.

25/02/2024: Very nice place located in the center of Domodossola. very good food with particular combinations, but never wrong. Helpful and friendly staff. Ideal for spending time with friends and having a chat.

12/02/2024: Sono stata a pranzo presso Casa Fontana pochi giorni fa con un gruppo di colleghi-amici. Il ristorante si trova non troppo distante dal parcheggio adibito ma per raggiungerlo è stato necessario percorrere un piccolo dislivello che era assolutamente impraticabile in quanto la strada era completamente ghiacciata e a tratti piuttosto ripida. Nessuno, al momento della prenotazione, ci aveva avvisato dell’inconveniente, perché era sicuramente necessario armarsi di attrezzature idonee per non rischiare di farsi male. La struttura molto carina e caratteristica sia all’interno che all’esterno. Personale davvero poco cordiale e affabile con i clienti, piatti tipici e di qualità anche se forse alcune porzioni un po’ risicate. Nel complesso la nostra esperienza non è stata delle migliori.

05/02/2024: We've been going there for years. Everything exceptional, from the food to the wine, from the friendliness to the atmosphere. And finally the place. It's like entering a fairy tale. Splendid overnight stay. But dinner alone is an extraordinary and totally satisfying experience.

03/04/2024: I chose this restaurant after reading a lot of positive reviews, and I came away disappointed. The taste wasn't exceptional either, but it was still good, no worries there. On the other hand, in terms of quantity on the plate, I found it exaggerated. The pasta dish was very light. The pistachio cream dessert was really a creamy background on the plate. So the quantity/price ratio is really not great. Damage...

25/10/2023: Small (less that 24 indoor seats) and cozy with white tablecloth atmosphere. The food and service are top=notch. We both had an appetizer and a second course - in this case we went with the special, agnolotti with porcini sauce. It gets our vote for best ever rendition of a dish we have had many times. The wine list is a good one and very reasonably priced. We would recommend without conditions. Even in October, reservations are essential on weekends.

02/04/2024: Finding vegan options is never easy or obvious but here you can eat very well, simple but very good dishes, a very rich starter and the dessert was truly exceptional (a cake with pistachio mousse and hazelnut brittle and salted caramel, perfectly balanced). We had a great time and will definitely be back 🤩

17/03/2024: Excellent food, I enjoyed my risotto tasting every single ingredient. Polenta and venison very good and tasty, the meat melted in your mouth. The desserts are good too. Right portions. The service... what can I say. Very kind, helpful, good-natured and a very welcoming environment. Worth trying, I recommend it and will happily return.

24/03/2024: You feel pampered!!! You eat and drink very well!!! Igor (the manager) always knows how to recommend the right beers to accompany the dishes, also satisfying the customers' tastes! Bibi is fantastic in the kitchen, really really good! And all the staff are very helpful!!! TRY IT!!!
