13/10/2023: Cannero e bellissima il ristorante arancioamaro e l'immedesimazione del posto: stupendo un' armonia di colori e profumi che non vorresti mai andare via! La cordialità e l' ospitalità sono eccellenti...la cucina ottima. Ho mangiato le capesante: eccezionali di primo gli spaghetti con le vongole:buonissimi e per secondo il baccalà mi è piaciuto tutto, per vino un rose' millesimato! È stata una serata veramente indimenticabile.

12/10/2023: Zum Abschluss unseres Giro für einen Wein eingekehrt - sehr netter Service bei unschlagbarer Lage. Die Frage nach der Speisekarte wurde mit einem kleinen Vorspeisenteller beantwortet!

01/10/2023: Ci siamo stati oggi a pranzo. I tavoli all'aperto, affacciati sul lago e ben protetti, offrono una sistemazione molto piacevole. La cucina però dovrebbe essere molto più attenta. Intanto il cameriere non dovrebbe andare in crisi se per la bimba chiedi della pasta corta con un po' di pomodoro, tant'è che alla fine abbiamo dirottato sugli spaghetti. Poi, se prendi come antipasto del vitello tonnato o dei tacos, ragazzi! meno quantita, è un antipasto, più qualità, più verve, lascia perdere il piattazzo! Ma soprattutto è inaccettabile, da qui il giudizio negativo, che un risotto con persico arrivi: non insipido o un po' salato (può capitare), ma decisamente e fastidiosamente salato; il riso indietro di cottura; il pesce in compenso stracotto, anche se in quantità generosa pur se letteralmente mescolato ad una quantità eccessiva e sproporzionata di riso, quest'ultimo almeno un terzo in più del necessario e che infatti è rimasto nel piatto. Allora, un infortunio culinario o una certa disinvoltura in cucina, possono sempre capitare; ma quando superano un certo livello, qualche interrogativo te lo poni, soprattutto per il futuro.

17/09/2023: We arrived at the Europa after having a bad experience at restaurant Magnolia ( see my review ) We had a friendly welcome from the manager / owner who sat us a lovely table overlooking the lake , menus arrived then our drinks order taken When he came to take our food we ordered two portions of bruschetta to which he said we only need one as there were four pieces many places would of just taken the order to make a bit of extra money. Meals arrived my wife had chicken I had Frito misto it was all really nice Food , drinks, service and to be honest not that expensive. So I’m glad we walked away from the other restaurant and walked another 5 minutes along the lake. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal

05/04/2024: We were walking on the promenade on a sunny spring afternoon and spontaneously decided to have a drink. We ordered drinks and also received a small aperitif platter (on the house). The service was very friendly, pleasantly discreet but also quick to help if there was a concern. Italian, English and a little German were spoken. The decor and styling of the restaurant is very nice.

28/03/2024: Unfortunately I have to agree with many other reviewers: we sat for 15 minutes, there were still tables available, the staff kept looking elsewhere, bored. We then went back...

24/10/2023: Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Angebot ist gross, zum Teil günstig und sehr gut. Wir empfehlen Chateaubriand (25€), alles mit Lachs, Pizzas. Die Salate sind frisch und selbst zubereitet. Vendiamo in Marzo, Salute et molto grazie Susan & Georges

04/10/2023: This was just the best little restaurant in the village and local area. Food was great and we were three vegetarians out of four. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were fabulous. We went there four times in one week. That’s how good it was.

04/04/2024: Very nice environment with a beautiful view of the lake, tidy and clean, friendly smiling staff, very fast. Good food with a wide choice, abundant dishes, the only flaw is the lack of saltiness in all the foods.
