22/01/2024: The food here is really very special. The location on the gorge is magnificent, and the restaurant itself is also very atmospheric. The menu is clear, the dishes are special and very carefully prepared. I invited guests for my birthday and was very happy with the evening. The wine list also offers a great selection; compared to nearby Locarno, the food and drink here are extremely affordable.

04/03/2024: Locale molto bello, se ami mangiare e bere bene questo è il posto giusto. Stefano il proprietario gentilissimo, simpaticissimo e un’ottimo cuoco. Abbiamo mangiato risotto con cottura alla brace ai carciofi, rosti con spinaci toma e bresaola degustando un calice di Ruchè. I dolci, cheescake al cocco con scaglie di cioccolato bianco e torta di mele cannella e zenzero…squisiti. Salendo o scendendo dalla Val Formazza non si può non fermarsi anche solo per bere una delle tante varietà di birre.

04/03/2024: Very nice place, Stefano the owner is very kind, very nice and an excellent cook. We ate grilled artichoke risotto, rosti with toma spinach and bresaola accompanied by an excellent glass of Ruchè. Even the desserts, coconut cheesecake with white chocolate flakes and apple cinnamon and ginger cake... delicious! For those who love beer it is the right pub. When going up or down Val Formazza you cannot help but stop.

01/04/2024: Although we hadn't made a reservation, we were given a very friendly welcome and were given a place for two people. The quality of the food was very good. All in all, it was a good fit and you can feel very comfortable there. The prices may be a little more expensive since it's located on the promenade, but they're definitely justified. The Ristorante e Pizze L Imbuto is a good recommendation.

06/10/2023: Die Pizza ist gut. Die Pastagerichte einfach aber in Ordnung. Die Riesengarnelen waren noch glasig. Die Garnelen wurden direkt nochmal gegart- angeblich gegrillt, den Eindruck hatten wir absolut nicht. Leider waren die Garnelen danach immer noch nicht durch und ich habe das Essen dann stehen lassen. Am Kopf waren die Garnelen labberig und schwarz. Trotzdem wurde mit 20,00€ der volle Preis berechnet. Beim zweiten Besuch war das Vitello Tonnato sehr zu empfehlen. Das Fleischgericht war auch in Ordnung. Der Cappuccino bestand zur über der Hälfte aus Schaum. Insgesamt in Ordnung, aber Mann sollte genau schauen, was man hier bestellt. Das Restaurant liegt in einem Innenhof, weg vom Wasser. Typisches Seeambiente hat man hier nicht. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, die Preise sind in Ordnung. Die Portionen von ihrer Größe auch. Wer eine einfache und gute, solide Küche sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben!

26/03/2024: Perfect stay in the beautiful Hotel Pironi with great attention to detail. Centrally located, quiet, beautiful lounge with free coffee, tea, etc., room with a great view of the lake, simply everything! Breakfast was great! Staff very friendly. Price-performance ratio is 100%.

28/12/2023: Was soll ich sagen, die Bilder sprechen für sich. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder. Das Hotel befindet sich in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Lago Blick. Die Promenade liegt ca 2 Min entfernt. Das Frühstücks Buffet bietet eine große Auswahl. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Auch der Aufenthaltsraum ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet den ganzen Tag kostenfrei Kaffee oder Tee. Das Hotel bietet eine Tiefgarage ganz in der Nähe. Leider ist das Hotel nichts für ♿. Das einzige was uns gestört hat, war der Brunnen, dieser plätschert rund um die Uhr. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

04/04/2024: The pizza was topped with high-quality ingredients, but unfortunately it was a bit bland. But that wasn't a problem, there was salt and pepper and hot oil so you could season it yourself. There are four stars for service because the wrong wine was delivered and then as a bottle and not as a glass.

07/03/2024: Place to avoid, rude staff and super expensive as well as charred pizzas. A ham and chips are 14.5 euros while a Margherita is 8 absurd, for a pizza worth 4. Even with the work lunch I didn't feel comfortable, an hour and a half for a first course and a second course..
