18/02/2024: Wonderful experience in a very fine and refined environment, friendly and kind staff as well as the owners of the restaurant serious and precise with their dishes. We were pleasantly struck by the superlative quality dishes, everything was delicious, there was nothing we didn't like, from the cold cuts and cheese platters, excellent fried fish, vegetables, etc. to the first courses (squid ink ravioli with frog monkfish and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms) up to the roast meat (the bombette melt in your mouth... crazy) and the wine offered, the very right price for the excellent quality, what can I say... beautiful day for our event at the risto il grappolo !

I liked the chicken breaded in corn flakes a little less, but I think it's a matter of taste... good and quality appetizers, fast service and beautiful intimate environment. the desserts are also excellent, we had dinner several times and during the dinner on Father's Day they honored us with zeppole, really pleasant. advise

04/04/2024: Their primacy on the abundant first course is undisputed!!! The fresh pasta is made on the spot, everything is visible from the open kitchen with glass!!! Good starters price 15 euros 8 courses, while the first 10 euros, mixed fried calamari, prawns and octopus 14 euros, another specialty is the apple pie with a ball of vanilla ice cream, a pleasure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

28/02/2024: The place is very welcoming... the food is excellent, if I may I would give some advice... the pizza dough is very light and good I would only reduce the quantity of toppings... for example mine was a cooked one and mushrooms.... There was a lot of ham and the slices were huge... for the rest I would definitely go back!!! Good Work.👌😊

01/04/2024: I went on Easter Monday and considering that they don't accept reservations, the waiting times are quite modest. Not to mention the meat, something spectacular, a fantastic cut. Excellent location, definitely worth repeating.

25/03/2024: Very good restaurant in the center of Cisternino. It is a restaurant with a counter with all its meats, where you choose the one you want. We ordered a “mix”, and the truth is that in general all the meats were very good, and we were also able to try typical products from the area. Also, the restaurant was nice and the staff very friendly. And also, very good quality-price. Totally recommended site.

26/11/2023: At the entrance to the old town, Chirico offers a peaceful setting for a lunch on the terrace in the sun. A superb view which enhances an absolutely fabulous cuisine! Succulent dishes, top service, nothing to complain about, it was perfect.

06/01/2024: Great atmosphere when you can sit outside, not really anywhere to comfortably sit inside downstairs. Upstairs there are two rooms but unfortunately they are utterly charmless. When the owner is in a good mood she can be very welcoming and fun, try not to get her on a bad day! I love the plain cheese cake, in general a great place for a sweet breakfast with amazing views over the Itria valley (valle d’Itria). Tends to get crowded in the later morning when the tourists and expats get out of their beds.

15/01/2024: We probably made a mistake in the 'non-typical' choices, but the rib-eye was decidedly disappointing, arriving on incandescent lava stone and definitely too overcooked to look like a tile. 600 g 45 euros definitely too much even just for the quality of the meat which made us feel sick to our stomachs the next day. The rest is better, from the house starter to the bombette, typical capocollo average without infamy without praise. For the price paid you definitely get much better food.

07/01/2024: Outstanding selection and quality of Puglia food, including famous Cisternino BBQ bombettes, burrata cheese, and orecchiette di rapa. Delightful atmosphere with tables along narrow alley. Friendly and competent service. Highlight of our Puglia dining experiences. Cisternino also a lovely hill town.
