18/03/2024: They really did a great job when they are picking the photographer. At a restaurant like this, you would expect the food to look like the photos. We didn’t enjoy either one of the dishes. The risotto with octopus was blend at best. The skin on seabass wasn’t crispy. The tuna didn’t look appetizing. We have left half of the food on plate and this was the worst experience we had in our trip to Puglia.

07/04/2024: Truly a nice discovery. Excellent aperitif and sandwiches. The sweet bruschettas are also really good. In the photo the 'Raffaello' sandwich.

26/03/2024: Inspired by the wide choice of sandwiches and its ingredients we booked this place and once we entered we didn't regret it! The sandwiches with fish sausage are few, but the "land" sandwiches are really many and their names are dedicated to painters and artists, in fact it was not easy to choose! Quality ingredients and abundant quantities make these sandwiches a must! The place is welcoming, with great music and the staff is friendly. Super recommended!!

29/03/2024: È stata la serata più bella dell'estate trascorsa e non sono parole di circostanza. Un posto unico e meraviglioso in cui a parte la goduria del palato c'è anche quella dellanimo. Quest'anno ho avuto anche il grande pregio di conoscere Fabio un ragazzo che definirei un signore in assoluto.....persone che difficilmente si incontrano in questo vita. I suoi modi gentili ed affabili, la sua passione nel darmi delucidazioni sul perché, a parte le procedure di cottura, la carne è così tanto squisita ( trattasi di bovini che vivono sulle sponde dell'oceano assorbendo così la salinità di quei luoghi) ed il posto in cui ci ha fatto accomodare ha reso la serata unica. E così anche quest'anno (13 Agosto 2024) mia moglie mi ha chiesto di prenotare un tavolo durante la ns solita tappa a Lecce prima di riprendere il viaggio per le nostre vacanze al Vivosa. The pieces of Salento-style horse meat are excellent, the bombette are spectacular, and as a side dish baked potatoes with rosemary... a formidable dinner. Thank you for the welcome, even though we hadn't booked and for the impeccable service. TOP quality at very accessible prices.. absolutely worth returning and recommending!

06/02/2024: Very friendly and helpful staff. We eat well and everything. I'm from Campania and I tried the pizza which I can say is very similar and good to ours. Then this evening I had the pleasure of eating very close to the Lecce staff and managers. Good experience. Thank you

02/03/2024: We had lunch here, unfortunately very quickly. We took 3 second courses, all really good and with excellent prices accessible to all. We will definitely be back to try the first courses. Super recommended

24/01/2024: Fantastic husband and wife run kitchen, where you get a decent meal for a decent price. We were in Lecce for one month, and after discovering them, spent nearly every lunch time there. Missing them! 🥲

09/03/2024: Love the Prophet!!! Gave us terrific insights on high level of Italian craft brewing. Loved the staff - especially Erica who was so kind to two non-Italian speaking visitors - and the vibe and clientele were special making us feel like we were drinking at a cool Brooklyn craft beer place.

06/03/2024: The Prophet is now a second home, that's all I'm saying. Always different craft beers and above all MANY, both on tap and in cans and bottles, and then the variety, not only the best known types but really everything from pastry stout, black IPA, rauch, sour, gose and so on and so forth the more you put. The staff is fantastic and the prices are very accessible especially considering the quality of the beers.

18/03/2024: Un pranzo da ricordare! Locale piccolo e curato in ogni dettaglio. Accoglienza da parte dai titolari a dir poco, magnifica. Per chi è alla ricerca di qualità, questo è sicuramente il posto giusto. Consigliatissimo.

31/10/2023: Nous avons été ravis par la qualité et la fraicheur des produits proposés. Beaucoup de poissons crus. Une très belle adresse à Otranto. Le restaurant offre une jolie vue sur le port. La décoration est agréable et l'accueil chaleureux.

10/03/2024: We live in Lecce and we had heard about the restaurant but there had never been the opportunity to spend an evening there. We took advantage of my birthday celebration to try the Duo's cuisine. Exceptional service with hospitality, attention and care towards the customer. Thanks to the waiter who served us (I don't know his name), super kind, sweet and helpful. Very professional! We opted for the à la carte menu, both starters and main courses were very good. We appreciated the chef's welcome aperitif. The best dish and with a very particular taste for us was the dessert! Congratulations and we will definitely return.

31/03/2024: We went there to eat for the first time on Saturday 30.3.24. It was great! The best pizza in Salento. Very good wine. Perfect price performance. We will be back for sure.

02/04/2024: To flee! A tourist scam, nothing works, I was able to try the vegetarian puccia: two slices of tasteless fior di latte mozzarella, two slices of plastic tomatoes (in Puglia it's a shame!), quarters raw zucchini (yes), and marinated artichoke which managed to be inedible. The floury bread (historical recipe, all that) didn't help anything. Not a drizzle of olive oil, zero seasoning to wash it down. No cooking either to help the pill pass. In short, a disaster, I threw half away. My friend's raw ham sandwich wasn't any better. To forget!

06/04/2024: If you are in Otranto, you MUST visit this place. We have been many times, and it’s a great spot to sit out in the old town, with good beer and wine, watching the world go by. The owner and his son are so welcoming, and really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. They have welcomed our dog Bob, and always bring him water, and a friendly pat! We have eaten here (annd certainly will do again!). The food was the best we’ve had in Italy so far. We are here until the end of May, and look forward to bringing our visiting friends to this lovely friendly place.

03/10/2023: In assoluto una delle migliori cene del mio soggiorno salentino, tanto da ritornarci subito la sera successiva, tanto eravamo rimasti soddisfatti. Siamo stati consigliati dalla nostra titolare del b&b di Morciano di Leuca di provare questo locale, se eravamo in cerca della vera cucina del posto, ed aveva assolutamente ragione. Nelle due serate in cui siamo andati, abbiamo provato piatti diversi (una menzione particolare al "Carosello", un insieme di antipasti uno più buono dell'altro, dalle polpette, ai fiori di zucca e ricotta col miele, alla bufala con marmellata di pere....la mia bocca ha ancora l'acquolina), e non siamo mai stati delusi. Il menù non è troppo ampio, e lo ritengo un punto di merito, soprattutto quando la qualità è così alta. Anche i primi sono di tutto rispetto, per non parlare delle bombette prese come secondo. Sapori che ancora ci sogniamo, peccato che la terza sera fosse quella della partenza, altrimenti avremmo fatto il tris. Una menzione poi per il titolare Antonio e tutta la sua squadra: sempre cpn il sorriso, pronti a spiegare il piatto e consigliare, oltre ad avere una gentilezza che ormai non è scontata. Il prezzo è più alto di quello di altre trattorie, ma assolutamente in linea, se non addirittura basso, se rapportato al menù ed alla assoluta qualità del cibo. Se capitate da quelle parti, fidatevi, e andate da Antonio!

29/09/2023: Went there on our last night in Salve and got somewhat disappointed. The food was average and the interior of the place also nothing special. It's decent food, i just weren't impressed by the atmosphere. The staff and service was good!

02/04/2024: No comment for the level of this pastry shop. They are at least ten years ahead of the others. There really is everything, especially for those who are allergic to gluten, eggs, milk... Unique vegan and gluten-free pasticciotto. (We ordered several to take home) We came from Umbria, with our child and Dalmatian and we were welcomed into a familiar and professional environment. Thank you for being so attentive to customers, especially those with special needs. I think we have many other pastry shops to learn from you.
