20/03/2024: I already knew SushiMaki from having gone there a couple of times. However, I hadn't been there for a few years so I took advantage of the opening in the new location to return. The place is very nice and maintains the style of the prexma one with a larger environment and I think also a few more tables. The setting is like if the previous one had remained, that would be a very positive thing for me. You choose from a classic menu and then the order is made using a tablet, which is also familiar to those who have had the chance to go to Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. The choice is definitely wide, but we already had an idea of ​​what we wanted to eat. We had a mixed tempura and then the ramen. The tempura is excellent and, respecting Japanese tradition, it is really light. The ramen is good, with a fair number of ingredients inside including the egg. The taste was not very intense, I think it was slightly more suited to local palates, but it is certainly a pleasant dish. We also tried the desserts, the mochi and an ice cream which we appreciated. What differentiates SushiMaki from other places? Definitely the owners and the staff in general: all very kind and ready to help you if you are new to Japanese cuisine. Another strong point is the quality of the raw materials, certainly of a high level. Then there is a factor that many other places don't have: the owner's wife, who also works in the place, is Japanese and you can hardly find a person who knows Japanese cuisine better than her. One final clarification: this is not an all-you-can-eat restaurant, also because there are no Japanese restaurants that are all-you-can-eat, and this is further confirmation that we are dealing with a real Japanese restaurant.

The prices are low but the quality is more than excellent...dirty sandwiches just the way I like them, the staff are friendly and attentive to customer needs, fast service and a nice environment...but maybe it's changed a lot since I came here😁

19/02/2024: We had the pleasure of eating excellent meat cooked to perfection, rare as we like it, very tasty and at honest prices! The scottona entrecôte was superb as was my husband's Florentine steak. Very tender, juicy, tasty meat...in short, really delicious! So much so that my husband did an encore! It was a great experience, served by the very kind and friendly Mirella, as well as wife of the butcher and chef Enzo, owners of this butcher/grill shop, in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere! What can I say, we spent a beautiful and enjoyable evening characterized by the joviality and courtesy of the owners who made us feel almost at home with the way they immediately put you at ease and always smile between a delicious bite and a chat. 27/01/2024: Ordering a slice of Angus rocket and medium-cooked parmesan with home delivery when you are not local but are guests of a rehabilitation facility without any suggestions is like playing roulette and hoping for the right number. And the right number came out, punctual service, quality cut, more than generous portion, cooked just right, tasty, tender and still hot to taste. Not much to say, the winning number cannot be changed, ...congratulations, see you next episode.

02/03/2024: Everything seemed good in taste, except the first one I ordered (cavatelli alla marinara) in which I felt that something was wrong but I ate anyway, the starter was very good but... I came home 2 hours ago and about 1 hour I can't leave the bathroom, I vomited and have clear symptoms of indigestion of something that wasn't as fresh as it should be! I don't know if the seafood is frozen or not, I just know that I feel terrible. It wasn't very cheap either so it would have been nice to at least not lose out in every way

13/09/2023: Historic bar in Casarano opposite high schools. I went there as a boy about 35 years ago. It has existed since 1975!!! Courtesy, hygiene and goodness has never changed, always at the top!
